You guys really get after it! My son and I bought out the lights and supply's last weekend for our micro green operation............. Ended up just drinking a bunch of beer. Maybe next weekend! subscribed!
Absolutely amazing operation 👏🏽 I was fortunate enough to spend a day watching them operate their daily operations. And the produce was so fresh and tasty.
@DonnyGreens We have watched so much of your content. Appreciate the love and comments. Thanks for all the guidance in our growing procedures and crop rotations. Stay tuned for our next video drop. We will be showcasing another very impressive hydroponic container farm operation.
I use robust takeout containers which the customer rinses and returns at next delivery. This way the containers are reused. I have cycled containers for over a year. Selling through stores is a different story altogether and problematic. I only sell to restaurants, in bulk 500g-1000g/variety, and directly to customers by weekly deliveries to their homes.
Hey I was looking at your compost pit and thought of an idea that might help ease the process of breaking all that down. Try using a 31 gallon steel trash can, a handheld electric mud mixer (milwaukee makes a good one), and a pro mixing paddle with a 7 inch head. It should break all that up with ease. (If you don’t want to deal with batteries and want a more robust drill Ridgid makes a corded one that has auger handles)
Wonderful to see how growing Micros takes on many different shapes and techniques to grow. I saved a lot of time with bubble washing my trays and presoaking the grow medium with hot water 12 hours prior to use. Grow mix absorbs the water over night and then it goes into a tumbler to break up the clumps and to separate larger wood pieces. Bottom watering is a must and I do that with flood trays rather than watering each tray individually. ..... Great operation! Peace and Love❤❤❤
Do yi7 have tour procedures for sale or for reference? I'm planning to start my microgreens business un the next minth and I would like to follow your methods. Everything looks great. Honestly impressive and inspiring!

Do you really need to add weigh on those trays? Have you tried without it? In my case I did not notice difference with ot without. Great video by the way. Thanks for sharing!
for some crops its beneficial to add weight to help the new shoot remove from the seed shell itself, beetroots and coriander will benefit from this process.
The stems are more robust and the shelf life is much longer when the seedlings experience resistance. Without the weight acting on them the stems are more delicate and spindly. I grow Peas under weight and then I grow them under a black tray for a couple of days to reduce the fibrous texture. Some Micros will have too much contact with soil causing fungus issues so the weight, if used, must be removed sooner and the trays un-stacked.
Hi how r u .. Merry Christmas i like to ask u if u have any information or have u try to plant this before if yes please share a video ( AGARWOOD SEEDS ) THANKS
@@chefsprospective Just finished watching episode 2, that looks delicious. A question about your shipping container. How did you build it so that one side of the door is a normal door instead of a shipping container door? I’m thinking of making a grow room out of an old refrigerated semi trailer.
@@nomargat77 Its a modified Reefer shipping container. We had to take the engine out the back and weld a steel plate on the open side. we then modified the electric panel and added a doorway for easier entry and exit. hope that helps.
I saw you don’t weigh your Microgreens in the clamshell container.. is it just volume is 4 oz or you have it down to a science knowing how much per clamshell is 4 oz??

If you observe a glove wearing food handler, you will see that after some time the gloves come into contact with chins and noses and itchy forearms and sweaty brows, while their hands are clean. Microgreen farmers hands are constantly washed as are the knives and other tools. This is much cleaner and sanitary than gloves, but gloves do make for better safety theatre.

Es gibt ganz dünne Fichtenholz-Schachteln. Aber dann ist es immernoch offen. Vielleicht ist 100 % recycletes Plaste ein Gedanke.

7:31 What`s this for a powder? :) Never seen this befor in Microgreening
this is fine vermiculite, they use this to help keep the moisture while in germination stage for those crops that require more moisture than others.

Why prospective and not perspective?
the future of food and small food business's is the idea thinking about the future
