If you have situational awareness, look assertive and don't get involved in local issues, you'll be fine. They believe in working During the day one don't see a younger person under 45 idling on the streets. People are friendly and gentle. They love their land. Petty crimes like pickpocketing are common in most tourist places like Paris or Rome. Some violent crime is expected in palces where there is organized crime or ethnic strife. But with common sense precautions you should be able to avoid getting into trouble. Getting too intoxicated and walking in deserted parts of any tourist spot is ill advised.

Petty crimes like pickpocketing are common in most tourist places like Paris or Rome. Some violent crime is expected in palces where there is organized crime or ethnic strife. But with common sense precautions you should be able to avoid getting into trouble. Getting too intoxicated and walking in deserted parts of any tourist spot is ill advised.
