I've got the 22 conversion also. Bought it as the silver gray finish and it is peeling. So I want to cerakote it like yours as black or camouflage green or maybe just polish it as the aluminum finish. It fits to my Kimber 9mm 1911 and shoots great.
They recommend not having last round hold open as the slide is a softer material than the catch and it'll wear down the notch. I found my polymer mags snagged a little, filing down the inner lip where it was catching the bullet tip helped with feed problems. I also reduced the heavy hammer spring on my kimber custom two to a lighter one to improve it failing to cycle. Just don't go too light or it'll affect the function when you swap the slide back. Overall though a great option, I use mine all the time, especially with the ammo shortage!
I’d probably consider this for my Raptor II, but I don’t like the sites and at the price, particularly after replacing the sites, it’s not worth it. I have a Ruger…heard how nice they were, it doesn’t cycle ammo well at all and it’s really not an accurate gun compared to my Browning Buckmark…nice looking gun, just doesn’t perform and it’s not a cheap gun. Lots of aftermarket upgrades, but I don’t want to spend more money on a gun I believe doesn’t shoot well. Great review!!
I've been considering this conversion for my kimber, but I have a glock model 44 - 22lr that I got for $329 and it's a great shooter

Why are the sights and n the kimber .22 slide so high?
Nice front slide serrations! Helps good with press-checks! Don’t ya know, for sure.
Is it made by Ciener or Kimber themselves? :)
Where in the world can I get one for my Kimber Ultra Raptor II?
Looking for one, for my Springfield TRP operator.
Does this work for 70 or 80 series
