I have an issue with my newly bought creader 3001 obd2 when plug to dlc port of my car nissan almera 2016 message appear Communication Error. Please advise what to do.
Hi Like your video Pls advise, I'm owning toyota camry 2009 v6 , my car is popping up VSC Track off and check engine light , I gone through obd scanning through out work shop they say my o2 sensor has problem and bad catalytic converter, so I have changed both still after installation after 40 miles of driving the lights came on again, so he told me to replace fuel cap , so I replaced but no more any changes I'm totally confused , my car running and performance everything very smooth. Worried coz of lights.
Just bought recently a CReader 3001 (China) thru Lazada Online. After running the diagnostics, scanner displays a connection or compatibility error. According to seller it's compatible with my Toyota Avanza 2008. I doubt the car's OBD pinout might be tampered with since I bought it as 2nd hand? I checked the car's OBD pinout with the following pins wired: 1, 4, 5, 7, 9, 12, 13 & 16. Is this correct?
It’s possible that the engine computer isn’t talking or another computer in the system is causing communication to stop. This could be the cause of the no start and no communication.

I bought this beauty, but when I tried to update it, my laptop turned off. I was unlucky 🫣 and the ATT crashed, and the scanner became inoperative. Could you tell me if there is any way to do a factory reset :/? I sent an email to the manufacturer in China, and they are acting crazy and they just say to try to update it, knowing that it doesn't even recognize the USB on the PC anymore 💻 😒
@@gusschwarz was it bought recently? If from Amazon I would see if you can get a replacement. I don’t know how to recover the device after a failed update.

Do I have to drive the car for drive cycle to renew, or can i just let it idle for some time?
@@muradahmed4894 a drive cycle is typically required. Some monitors require the car to be driven and then parked over night on flat ground.

This is why California requires a car to have a valid smog certificate before a seller can sell a car
(in most cases).
Certain areas of Colorado are like that and require smog testing but for the most part people just drive around with a check engine light.

I bought it on Aliexpres about 3 months ago... but apparently there's no way to reset it, a simple device :/
