Cube Storage Unit

In this video I am showing you how I made a Cube Storage Unit out of birch plywood.
I am using dowels to connect it all together and finishing it with some clear varnish to maintain the plywood look.

I am thinking of building the same unit for basement egrass window as a steps to escape. What thiknes of playwood should I use ? What do You think? tnx for recording !!

I used 18mm as the thickness makes the unit more sturdy. You might get away with 12mm but id be concered at the joins of how strong it would be.
