Fantastic things to know before moving to Manitoba. Great transport system and housing structures though I like big spaces in the house. Accommodation is quite on the high side
I got my medical request on the 26yh of august and it updated to pass on the 20th of September I've been waiting for my ppr my heart has just been beating I'm going to umanitoba so I'm super excited thanks so much for the video 🥰🥰🥰🤩🤩
Thank you, for the video I just got nominated to come to Manitoba with my family, and I would like to have your contact. Thank you. A lot of questions to be asked.
Thats so nice congratulations to you and your family 🎊 🎊🎊 Please send a dm on instagram @favyscorner or send an email to onwuteakaf@gmail.com Thank you for watching 😊
Hi dear - I am a french speaker from Abidjan , Ivory Coast, but i have lived in Nigeria for 1 year. I love Nigerians :) . I would love to use you as my connection in Manitoba. I planned on Having an exploratory visit there.. What do you say about that ??
Thank you for stopping by today 😊 I don't want to say yes or no for sure as I am not 100% familiar with the health requirements for immigrants. I would say an immigration consultant might be in a better position to answer this.
1,500/1,700 for 2 bedroom 😳😳 oh no 😢 i prefer my Italy where my 3 bedroom apartment is 500 euros 😀 I don't think I can cope with Canadian whether sef😅 thanks for sharing 😊
Ah please don't be discouraged ooo 😁 we are all making it work so I'm sure you'll be fine if you come but ah 500 euros for a 3 bed is a very good deal ooo. It's almost hard to come by here so please enjoy yourself 🤗 Thank you so much for watching sis 🤗
😭😭 I just got my admission to the university of Manitoba! All these things aren’t encouraging at all . Maybe I’ll spend 1 or 2 years then I’ll transfer to another province💔
Congratulations on your admission 🥳 Don't worry you'll be fine. I've lived here for a few years and honestly it's okay. Of course I needed to be realistic and share realities of what/how life can be here but you'll be fine 🤗 Feel free to reach out to me if you have any question at all 😊
Hi Anita, thank you for stopping by 🤗 I feel I'll need more information to answer this question better as it's not a straightforward answer. Like would you be going to school here first or what's the plan? If you'll be going to school, I'll say provinces shouldn't matter much as I'll say focus more on the school you get admitted to and then consider the cost of tuition and the cost of living in that province as there are always nursing jobs available so it'll be left for you to pick what works better for you. Feel free to let me know if you have more questions 😊
Good morning. I want to ask a question concerning this too. As a Nurse migrating to Manitoba, is the cost of living worthwhile compared to the money earned?? And also,if I will be going there for my masters degree, is it possible to work alongside for sustenance? Thank you.
Hello Yes you can work while in school based on the requirements for international students at the time you arrive. With regards cost of living and income earned. I feels it's okay. One thing is nursing jobs have always been in demand and so it shouldn't be hard to find a new job or even grow in your field.
Hi im moving soon to winnipeg .. but lately i see in some videos and website that winnipeg is very danger place is that true espacially for familly ?.. and my salary will be more than 4700$ is that good income to live well in winnepeg ?! .. thank you
Thank you so much for watching. Honestly there would always be news out there and there are also neighborhoods that are more preferable compared to others so I feel you'll be fine if you move to Winnipeg. Fot income, it depends on a lot of factors. For some people, $5000 a month is enough and for some its not but I think you'll be fine if that's your monthly income especially since you can always get better jobs if you feel it's not working for you. You can send me a dm on Instagram @favyscorner if you still have questions or feel free to respond to this comment with your other questions 😊
Hi thank you for stopping by today. Depending on the course/program you want to study it might or might not be an issue. I'll say check out the UofM website and see what the admission requirements are for the program of your choice.
You're welcome 😊 I have a video on finding accommodation so definitely check that video out for more tips 😊 But if you need more help you can send a dm to @seamlesssettlemb on Instagram and we can help you out.
Hello thank you for watching 😊 We can definitely help you out. Please email me at onwuteakaf@gmail.com or send a message on instagram to @seamlesssettlemb and we can discuss more.
Good info, thank you so much Pls like how much in dollar do i need to pay for deposit fee for a master program of 6000 dollars and can you do a video on the total cost of coming to study at university of manitoba including deposit, requirements for visa?
Thank you so much for stopping by today. I can definitely put a video together but wanted to understand your question better. Were you asking if you can pay $6000 as your deposit or if the whole cost of tuition is $6000. Also was there any program in particular you wanted to know about ?
I've gotten a course already and the tuition fee is 6000 dollars, i just want to know how much can i deposit before leaving my country to travel down to university of manitoba?
When applying for your visa, most times you're expected to pay half or almost the full tuition amount for the first year. I know that's usually the expectation however people have different experiences. If you don't have a visa yet, I'll say try paying for the first year but if you already have your visa you can travel already. Just try to get your tuition ready by the time the semester starts and you should be good
Dont worry you'll do fine after moving. In one of my recent videos "Common mistakes new immigrants make" I talked more about the cold and how people adjust so you can check that out. A lot of buildings are heated so you mostly feel cold if/when you go outdoors. And yes we still go to work. But depending on how bad it is some organizations ask their staff to stay home. I'll also post another video on tips for surviving winter in Manaitoba and other parts of Canada so you can look out for that video it'll be out soon 😊 Thank you so much for watching 🤗
Thank you so much for watching today ❤️ Ontario has its advantages and disadvantages but yes pick what you feel works better for you. One thing is you'll adapt regardless of where you chose and so if you end up moving here, you'll definitely adjust and you'll be fine 😊
Thank you so much for watching. Yes they're definitely cons. I wasn't aiming at listing cons I just wanted to create an awareness of how things are here in Manitoba. One of the pros for me has to be that the cost of living is quite low compared to a lot of places. Yes things are expensive but it's not so bad compared to other provinces. Another would be that it doesn't take you so long to get around. I personally also like the fact that it's not soo crowded like other provinces. Here in Manitoba, most citizens and permanent residents also have access to free/subsidized Healthcare for a lot of services(not everything but atleast the basics).
Hiya I don't know much about the processes in UK but the pathway is straightforward for Canada and I like it here so far. Also, the weather in the UK is not as harsh as it is here in Canada. Feel free to reach out to me on Instagram @favyscorner if you want to chat more 😊
@Favy's Corner I have been try to buy a house there but one major factor that has derailed my decision is the weather. Aside from that, I am unaware if there is sufficient jobs in my field as I do construction and renovation.
