Fellow crafter please watch the video until the end. I explained a lot more on the later part of the video 😊 In this part 6:30 I mentioned that if you don't want to tear your mold when you demold your piece with eye screw on it, you can remove the screw after curing for at least 3-4 hours while it's still soft but firm and the hole will stay there until it's fully-cured ,then you can just put the eye screw back when it's already cured but you'll need UV Resin or shoe glue to secure it. No drilling needed too.
@@jamesbarlowjr.3762… towards the end of the video, it does show that a little resin leaked from the hole, but it was easily removed. Hope that helps? Much love from Brisbane, Australia. ♥️♥️🇦🇺
It is a brilliant technique. When i used to pour resin i used fear that the resin keychain hole in mould will get filled. But now i can pour my resin without any hassle. Thanks a lot for sharing.
I didn't too 😅 I had to try it first on one mold and pray that it would 😆 tho I mentioned on the later part of the video that if you don't want to tear your mold by demolding it with the eye screw on the letter, you can remove the pin when your resin project has been cured for at least 3-4 hours ,while the resin is still soft but firm already and the hole will stay there until it's fully cured. You don't need drill too but you'll need UV Resin or Shoe Glue to secure the eye screw when you put it.

I started doing this 3 months ago when I'm making my daughter's christening souvenirs. It huge help specially when making big batches. Thank you for sharing this Ejoy. I am new at your channel and when I see this video I hit the subscribe button quickly. You're so inspiring❤❤❤
Woah!!! You just saved me so much trouble, time and money with this hack!! Im making a custom keychain for my son but the mold doesnt have a peg to provide a hole, so i was just going to drill a pilot hole into it. Thank you soooooo much!! Your work is beautiful!!
Wow, I was getting frustrated as to why my pieces were cracking! It was because i was drilling them and adding the eyepins post curing. Your video is great and your resin pieces are wonderful. Thank you ❤
Watched the whole video. Great!!!!!! Idea!!!! Love it better when y’all talk tho. Not being mean. Just that TH-camr who loves when you all talk. Then there are ones who do talk who get comments they talk to much. Lol. No pleasing everyone. ❤️ love your work
Great idea! Very clever. I'm just curious how long the mold will last, doing that. Did you use some kind of paste in a recent video? Would a dab of that on the outside before you pulled the screw through help any? I think we can all agree that ejoy is the Queen of Letters.
Thank you Miley 😊🎀 for reference, I used some of the molds for at least 4x and they're still completely fine and usable up to now and to think that the letter mold set (like I used in the video) that's been sold to the market is thinner than what I used from 2 years ago.
Omg, muy buena técnica, no se porque se me quiebran mis piezas a los días de ponerle el eye pin🤔 empezaré a usar esa nueva técnica estéticamente se ve muy bien 😍😉 gracias 🤩 😅
I was facing a issues because my eye keeps coming out, idk why, maybe because the resin was dried and the Keychain was not holding it. Thank you for telling.... I'm starting my mini business with my own pocket money of resin... I need this trick definitely
Very useful. By the way, I accidentally filled the hole in my bookmarks while doing a top coat and I don’t want to use a driller to add a tassel. Would you happen to have any idea how to add a tassel?

Did you buy your letters seperate? Or did you cut them?
I bought mine has all the letters and numbers together.
Thank you 😊 I cut them separately
Great technique, does this put wear and tear on the mold to be replaced sooner?
Thank you 🎀 😊 you can tape it if it tears apart
i will love to try this technique cus drilling some times do make the work look somehow

Maybe, you can put elmer’s glue outside the silicone, after you insert the screw? To avoid overspilled resin? I don’t know if that would work 😅
Very useful. By the way, I accidentally filled the hole in my bookmarks while doing a top coat and I don’t want to use a driller to add a tassel. Would you happen to have any idea how to add a tassel?
