I have the blue dial and I love it
It's a good looking watch! But at this price I expect a vertical clutch for a column wheel. The use of Genuine leather for a 2000$ watch was not something that I expected. Good watch but I prefer the Baltic Tricompax (same movement) or I would just save my money for a Seiko SQ series chronograph, which uses a vertical clutch! Anyway, Great video!

he said that because "genuine leather" means its of the lowest possible quality. When you buy a leather strap look for "real leather" or "true leather labels"
Ye it's a rebrand basically a glorified micro brand. Vulcains history died decades ago. I buy a Hanhart 417 Es for the same money and that's a genuine classic by a heritage brand. Steve McQueens favourite watch too

I had missed this video when it came out. This is a fantastic looking watch. It's not quite as fantastic as the green TAG Heuer glassbox chrono, but it is 42% of the cost. I think Vulcain in general is priced at a bit more of a premium price point than other small independents, but I think historically they were somewhat premium. I think the size looks great on your wrist in the far away shot.

I think you forgot getting an ST1901 powered chronograph. As long as you don’t mind a manual wind. The Omega moon-watches are also in the same boat.

very good chronograph, very classy and not very thick compared to sports chronographs. I have the panda version also in limited version. I'm almost tempted to buy another color. plus I bought it for 1700 euros instead of the current 2600.

That strap is a spit in the face. Love the domed crystal, but the design isn’t special.
That watch is just not competitive. And no display back = no deal.
They’re making vintage like watches/reissues why care about display backs ? That’s not a thing of the past , when you seek elegance you seek size fit case design domed crystals etc no display backs
Vulcains releases have consistently been overpriced imo, nice watches that look great but I cant justify spending the money
