I liked that Revelations allowed the Templars to take their territories back, I used to purposely raise my awareness level so they’d attack a den, wait for them to take it and then go liberate it.
This game introduced me to the series and I had no idea what was going on (I was just a kid) but these towers forced me to slow down and actually learn the game since the captain retreats when you’re spotted iirc. While AC2 is my fav of the Ezio trilogy, Brotherhood will always have a special place in my heart and I’m grateful for taking a chance on it way back then. Simpler times 😌
I think not all captains flee since those that do have a cowardly personality. I think others fight too. But what you said is true. Have so much fun with this missions
it's the pre-order bonus, right? drachen-something? agreed. the assassin killer outfit in ac rogue is great too, along with a couple others in that game.
@@spectralassassin6030 honestly, I think the reason why people prefer one over the other is the experience they wish to have. Ac origins is a beautiful map with many places to explore and huge in comparison to unity, and unity is more of a self contained game that takes place in a specific city like the older games. One is a fantastical exploration game that’s colorful yet somewhat grounded in reality. Unity is grounded and gritty which serves the French Revolution setting. One is a love letter to the originals the other is a new way to play. And I love both.(though unity is my favorite).
what i really liked about early ACs, particularly the Ezio trilogy is how you can *mostly* just climb upwards always, but very often you actually have to look at what "things you can grab" there are on the wall before proceeding, and sometimes you need to use the hook-jump and side-jump-and-grab to proceed. later ACs you can just sprint upwards and climb seemingly smooth surfaces (and hang on zeus's dick)
Definitely agree with this 100%. It makes no sense that you can climb any surface in the later games. Definitely prefer the foot and hand hold climbing.
I just love the idea that, in the age before the mass adoption of firearms, city guards would regularly take up posts on top of rooftops - as though they could actually do shit from up there if they spotted any sort of crime.
Can’t tell you how satisfying it was to clear out the middle tower (the one in the Roman Forum area w/ the captain hiding in the bowels of the ruins) - that one was by far the hardest one to clear in the game for me ❤️
Oh damn, now I have to play the Ezio Trilogy again, for the fifth time... Joking aside (no joke I will replay them), I loved Brotherhood, possibly a little bit more than 2 or Rev. I think it was a perfect upgrade of the ideas in 2, without looking tired as Rev, even though I love all three.
Best of course being that one guy on horseback who's all "trust me bois, I know all about how to spot an Assassin, so- _gets popped with the hidden gun_ "
sure it was! one of the best side activities of the whole franchise, a pity that not only was not able to play it again but it did not came back in other games
In brotherhood you can recruit people to join the assassin’s creed and fight with you. You can either signal them to shoot arrows from the distance and kill certain guards, call them to fight with you, or send them in missions that allows them to level up.
Ac braterhood might just be a perfect game. Amazing storyline and allies/antagonists (better than ac 2 even), amazing, simple, stylish combat and fun parkour and planty of side activities to do like destroying these borgia towers, recruiting/upgrading assassins and calling them to fight alongside you and rome is the best settting in the entire series, and naturally the soundtrack is perfect. It has flaws but idk this game just had that eery vibe i didnt get from other ac games. Its absolutely my favorite.
I used to kill and loot him everytime instead of capturing the tower...

How amazing this is on 4K i've never thought. And yeah of course...Back then when AC is actually an AC. Not like today. A few weeks ago i killed Unity i get my 100% in the game but that story uhh.....It's bleeding out from at least a hundred wounds. Arno is not even an interesting figure just like our good old Ezio was
I bet you wouldn't say the same thing if this was a Unity video just because the older ACs didn't have the flashy and over the top animations that Unity had.
Indeed it was. It’s a shame that the Borgia tower missions were not re-playable.
Yes, they have some real replay value.

I disagree, I think it’s got too many unnecessary spiky metal bits, it looks kinda ridiculous.

True, new AC titles just take away that Parcour aspect.

AC2 and Brotherhood were probably the best AC games during the PS3 generation

During 15th century armies had archers and they could shoot from roofs.

I miss brotherhood man. The game still holds up, even today, which is crazy
Agreed, tempted to reinstall it.
A lot of the old AC games are like that. Always great to replay the games that made my teenage years so enjoyable
Could be more satisfying by liberating them early on each main memory sequences
I made sure to do that, because it was so fun doing that before moving onto each new sequence

Greatest in the series
Aaahhh!
I remember that playing this game I would simply refuse to fall into the water! XD
Bro the music was the best thing during this
this feels so much quicker than the parkour in mirage
i always wish these tower missions were harder
I suppose I should find a way to stay in shape, too.
how did you remove the color filter? usually there’s a green or pink filter over the game
I did nothing tbh. It's the vanilla version of the game. No filters. No mods.
The ps3/360 had a sorta filter to it, like ac2. The pc and ezio collection for ps4/xbone have those filters removed.

Does igniting the tower automatically syncronise the viewpoint as well ?
