- Mercedes om616 - byggd i Indien!! original turbomotor med bosch VE pump. Har tidigare suttit i en bofors haubitskanon 77b!
Engine built in india, it was mounted in a Bofors field howitzer 77b. Engine is in good codition. For sale, asking price is 2500€ !!pick up only!! Located in Gothenburg, SWEDEN
Very Interesting ! I hear the om616 is still manufactured under license from Mercedes by force motors in India. Here in North America the om616 was only made naturally aspirated.
True, I have a Force Gurkha which has the OM616.

If someone in India would make turbo kits for OM616, I bet everyone who has an OM616 in the US will buy one and fit it to their car. I know I would.
My '88 207d Autotrail camper has a turbo'd OM616 motor here in Ulster. The kits were popular and fitted from new by a company in the UK called TB Turbos (no longer trading) It's running the standard pump but what adjustments they made to make it work are lost in the mists of time. I know from fitting a gauge to the manifold it's running 14psi/1 bar which at 3 ton allows it to cruse all day in 5th on everything but the steepest hills at 55mph.
In India force Gurkha got the latest Indian norms bs6 om616 diesel in their cars
Force motors sells it's vehicles with fm cr 2.6 with turbos which are slightly modified as in bigger bore and greater stroke - 90bore 100mm stroke 4 cyl .
Could approach them for new engine should cost like less than 2000 GBP in india.

617 турбо виделвстречал на американской версии w126, а вот 616 турбо не видел, насос вижу другой ve, с чего поставили? И турбину???

Индийская версия ом616, они выпускаются лицензией Bajaj Tempo. Они там досихпор выпускаются три разновидности по топливу форкамерные потом непосредственные потом комонрейловские такчто в Индии рай ом616! ))))

Most likely. India had the only turbo version of the om616.

@@martinsnuttan804 Hello,can you speak englisch? if when, i 'll better phone you to get more information about the motor. i am looking for a replacement for my OM616 without turbo to put in my Orion-suleica Camper, this is avery special camper and i want to have some more horsepowers...it is based on a hanomag=mercededes frame, the L206. now i have an 616 from MB100 with 75HP.I think yours is 90HP?Are there spare parts available? is it the same dimensions as the OM616 mercedes, the bolt holes from the transmission? Mine has a front wheel drive and i don't have enough space for a 5 cilinder.Normaly is your motor also with a oil-cooler?

La versión Turbo tiene la comprensión de 21:0.1, la version “sin turbo” tiene la comprensión de 21:5.1.
Lo qmi motor es sin turbo y lo e desarmado muchas veses y no doi con esto

the engine is completely original from the factory, I have not seen one before this.

Сколько получается лошадиных сил после установки турбины?
Его максимум можно дуть 0,5 атмосфер, так как они не шли турбо версии именно внутри с усиленными запчастями (были только om617 турбо). Того гдето будет +20 л.с., тоесть чтото типа 3-х литрового om617 атмосферника. По сложности переделки и стоимости и дополнительному весу турбины - проще просто om617 свапнуть.
@@3aieTs_2да 617 тоже слабоват, у меня на т1 бортовой стоит, хочу поставить что-то по мощнее, с турбиной
@@varyag058 Планирую плунжера для начала поставить 7мм, думаю достаточно будет прирост. Судя по видео про 2 литровый на канале Гарян, примерно как 3 литровый стал ехать. Турбину потом планирую поставить, если будет нехватать. Турбина работает гдето с 2000 оборотов, а на дизеле 90% времени и не надо больше крутить.
@@varyag058 Также не забудьте о коробке и мосте, выдержут ли они другой двигатель.
@@3aieTs_2 коробас тяговый, мост 4.4 думаю если ставить чтоб лошадок 120-130, это же не 360-400🙂.
А плунжера на 7, они с чего?
