ShomiiBeats it’s a good rule of thumb to eq out the lows at around 30Hz in your instruments - especially an 808. few speakers actually put out that frequency anyways, plus it can add some muddiness in the mix if it’s left in.

@@Wallacechurro2233 music theory would always help! but it isnt necessary for creating melodies in fl studio. There are a bunch of melody tutorials out there that can help a lot with chords. Once you know the basics, it becomes a lot easier.
