I was not really a fan of these hardcore bands but now it feels like i have to change my mind and dig into this genre....
A lot of bands push people out of anything with core in it or anything similar to it. Even though ETF isn't totally a core band. There are just too many wannabe bands that sound so much alike that it makes people lose interest.

What were the main reasons behind the sound change from your previous albums to Hate Me? I love the sound and I would say it sounds somewhere between Dying is your latest fashion and This War is Ours. PERFECT!
+GameOver Jesse I think the change is the fact that Thrasher is the lead guitarist instead of Monte.
Thrashers old music was eve different from this. I think its thelabel wanting them to be more radio friendly, since on for the money became so popular
They've always had the more mainstream approach. The reason they changed (although it's still very ETF) is because of Thrasher, whom is very talented and knows what he's doing. If you gotta use everyone's strengths.

with Monte Money, for me, they're ONE of the most unique band I've ever heard.
Their music is DISTINCT, compared to other bands with the same genre.
from their very first album, 'til Ungrateful album, when you hear their songs, its totally UNIQUE.
you'll know that the tracks you are listening is an ETF ORIGINAL.
but that's just when Monte is part AND a significant member of the band.
aside from Robert Ortiz, he's also the one and ONLY remaining original-member of ETF.
NOW?
listening to their new tracks, i can tell that they're just one of those COMMON BANDS, with the same riffs, same style.
they're not the DISTINCT, UNIQUE band anymore. the one i got used to hear.
Monte is just the best.
i don't know if i'll still be an AVID FAN of ETF, knowing that Monte and his brother, Michael, is not part of it anymore.

With Dead Rabbitts and Escape The Fate looking almost identical when it comes to band members, how do you guys plan on broadening the two sounds. Some ETF songs sound like it could be a DR song and vice versa. Love both bands btw.

This music inspires so many thoughts i m not sure why I just wrote those lyrics above i appologize , I get pumped up listening to such a passionate group of musicians and each member showing there glorious talents playing together but listen and really listen to the meaning and message of the song you hear each member play there instrument flawlessly becoming one entity in conclusion giving us this absolutely astonishing work of art, I give m,ad props to any band this passionate , starting as an idea and have become legendary. Million Miles an Hour, Get 'Em Up and Feed the Machine are the heaviest they've done in years, minus This Means War, which is heavy metal. People hate on them for the wrong reasons, now hopefully the hate will move onto Linkin Park so they make songs for both the heavy and soft music likers.
