Typical emo bands normally use Vocal fry screaming so you're probably used to the vocal fry screams from bands like Silverstein or under oath, so if you've never listened to any heavy music then I can see why you wouldn't like Ronnie's screams since they're not the typical emo scream. Of course he doesn't have nearly the experience that these deathcore frontmans have so his false chords are a little rough, but overall his screaming wasn't too bad in the Dying is your latest fashion album
