Got a 4080 and a ryzen 5 7600... Got a 1440p Monitor and sometimes i hook it up to my 4k tv Resolution aside it runs Like a dream. Dont overspend on a cpu if u are primaraly gaming, its really a waste.
Mid range of this gen is just buying last year's stuff. Which is insanely good. So just buy a 3070 and call it a day. Don't need to think you have to buy the most up to date everything because you don't.

The lower the resolution, the more cpu bottlenecked you are. To get the most out of a 4070ti at 1080p you would need the most powerful cpu and that still isnt even enough
@@eebrohim7001 Not the CPU isn't powerful enough. It was the games never programmed to utilize full multithreaded performance of top end cpu. It is still mainly programmed with single thread in mind and overall cannot really use more than 4 cores fully loaded. Buying the cpu with loads of cores may not get you any extra fps at all. You need a cpu with very good single core performance with very high frequency and very low memory latency to get most out of your powerful GPU.

@@firatfirat4633 the motherboard is the prime x670-p wifi, cheaper compared to its other boards but just as good imo, am5 board obviously. and for cooling I have CoolerMaster MasterLiquid ML360L ARGB V2 3 x 120mm RGB Halo Fans as well as other fans of course. but of course I always recommend doing your own research. most Ryzen 9s can run comfortably at like 100 degrees but still i would prefer it never going that high.

Remember even if there is a bottleneck, it doesnt matter you can underclock your gpu if needed and if your getting 200+ frames who cares if it could be higher you aint gonna notice the differences
Plus there prolly won’t be an insane bottleneck unless they are going bottom of the barrel cpu, but if your build a pc to play games the most expensive thing should be the gpu since it’s what’s gonna be doing the heavy lifting.

I have my 4070 Ti with r5 7600x and there seems to be no bottleneck in 1080p in cyberpunk because gpu is loaded on 99-100% while cpu is at 60% maximum. (Maybe I am wrong)
4070ti+ 13600kf at 1080p my card had 99% load at start of open world game but after moving during the game world - gpu loading droping to 85-90% and fps to 3-5 also (z790m and 2x16 3600). before 13600kf i had 5600x and it was great bottleneck.
I have that same Zotac 4070ti amp aero extreme. Paired with a 5900x and 64GB ram. Habe not played a game, yet it breaks a sweat with at 1440p. Also, you can always just use the bottleneck tool with Benchmark.

I like your videos but I think a better way of saying it is you want a 7800X3D if you want to fully use your 4070ti at 1080p in esports but I'd only suggest that if you own a insane over 300hz monitor you could easily just use a 7700 for most other games if you're okay with just 240fps and wait till maxing out the AM5 platform later on
You DON'T NEED a 13900K 😂 Dude you're perfectly fine with a 13600K, you can pair that monster with (I'm not kidding) ANY GPU out there. Have you checked how many CPU cores are used for gaming? Don't pair a 13900K with a 4070ti, get a 13700K and a 4080 instead. Or even better, a 13600K and a 4090, you'll be spending pretty much the same. But getting so much better performance, new gen CPUs are just way too powerful for any card you can get right now.

@@karelhemmers3665 Alan wake 2 60 fps on average, Witcher 3 100 fps on average, cyberpunk 70 fps on average, and also I use 1440p mostly ultra with RT on except for Alan wake 2 (sometimes I use DLSS on Quality). The point is, unless the bottleneck is above 20% then it's going to be fine, the reason I choose 13900k is mainly for after effects and editing softwares, maybe not the best I could ever get but it's still a beast for video games, never needs more than 60 fps on average at 1440p (AAA games)

Nah it surely doesnt bottleneck dont listen to this specific recommendation, i have a 4070ti with a 12700 and the 13600K is pretty similar to that. It works amazingly good and the 13600K is likely a beast in gaming and productivity. Dont worry about that. But yeah wont recommend lower than the 13600K. The 13600K and 13700 are both the sweet spot. I dont think the 13900K is good paired with a 4070ti but only with something better like the RX 7900 XTX with 24GB VRAM or the RTX 4080 if you are NVIDIA Fanboy and u dont care about paying unfair prices.
the 12700k and 13600k are basically the same in gaming peformance however the 13600k gets about 3 more fps and is alot cheaper but if you already have a 12700k you will be fine
I think this video kinda misrepresents what "CPU heavy" means... those games are not CPU heavy, they just require such little GPU processing power that they eventually max out your CPU at insane framerates. A real "CPU heavy" game would be something that actually needs considerable CPU processing power to achieve a playable framerate like star citizen that will max out your CPU at 20fps lol.
Works good in 1440p, haven't tried any demanding cpu games (cs go, dota 2 etc. are gona obviously run on it like a dream) but in games like rdr2, witcher 3 with everything on ultra i get like 60% cpu usage and 99% gpu
At 1440p should work fine in any game, almost no bottleneck in new games, eSports games will always get bottlenecked by cpu single core perf so won't matter that much, will wtill manage high frame rates easily

Love my 4070ti so far, handles everything I throw at it but bottlenecks when I try to record and play at the same time in 4k. However I paired mine with an i9-13900k so I can run a secondary GPU "3060ti" to do my recordings. The i9 is a BEAST.

I have a 4070 ti paired with a ryzen 3800x currently and I'm torn between upgrading to a 5800x3d or just wait for AMDs 8000 series then upgrade I'm leaning towards just waiting
For gaming pair this GPU with R5 7500F (65W), additionally if you do more than gaming get R7 7700 (also 65W), get at least mobo with B650 chipset - utilize those PBO/PPT Limit settings. Don't care for RAM speeds or CL (get anything from 5600-6000 with CL40-30 would be best if on sale) that is supported by your mobo manufacturer (just in case) Don't get more than 32GB. In terms of PSU a proper 650W is fine (I know nVidia suggests 750W, but I guess it's just in-case you have an Intel CPU). Use DLSS and Frame Generation. This is _probably_ the best bang-for-buck setup, probably even _capable_ of 4K gaming. Finally don't just believe my words and do your own research - I might be wrong.
The 4070 Ti is a beast of dead GPU with its VRAM for 4k Gaming. It's a good 1440p gaming and soon will be a very good 1080p GPU (will need to be paired with a 7800x 3D at this moment)
I paired it with my older ryzen 5 5600x and with DLSS 3 enabled I don't have a problem. In CPU heavy games if I have 250 or 220 fps doesn't make any difference for me.

To anyone interested you can get away with 9900k if you overclock the CPU and undervolt the GPU. I get 100% usage even without it a lot of the time.
Same with i5 13400f and you don't have to overclock its not possible either way but indervolt 4070 ti buy minimum 65w and it's awesome no bottleneck

I think this video kinda misrepresents what "CPU heavy" means... those games are not CPU heavy, they just require such little GPU processing power that they eventually max out your CPU at insane framerates.
A real "CPU heavy" game would be something that actually needs considerable CPU processing power to achieve a playable framerate like star citizen that will max out your CPU at 20fps lol.

Works good in 1440p, haven't tried any demanding cpu games (cs go, dota 2 etc. are gona obviously run on it like a dream) but in games like rdr2, witcher 3 with everything on ultra i get like 60% cpu usage and 99% gpu

At 1440p should work fine in any game, almost no bottleneck in new games, eSports games will always get bottlenecked by cpu single core perf so won't matter that much, will wtill manage high frame rates easily

It performs like a 3090ti, uses less than half the energy, even less if you undervolted the 4070ti. It's a great card.
Even with CSGO 2 being out it's not really that graphically taxing.

I had a Ryzen 7 5700X and a RTX 4070 Ti before I upgraded.
Love my 4070ti so far, handles everything I throw at it but bottlenecks when I try to record and play at the same time in 4k. However I paired mine with an i9-13900k so I can run a secondary GPU "3060ti" to do my recordings. The i9 is a BEAST.

For gaming pair this GPU with R5 7500F (65W), additionally if you do more than gaming
get R7 7700 (also 65W), get at least mobo with B650 chipset - utilize those
PBO/PPT Limit settings. Don't care for RAM speeds or CL (get anything from 5600-6000
with CL40-30 would be best if on sale) that is supported by your mobo manufacturer
(just in case) Don't get more than 32GB. In terms of PSU a proper 650W is fine
(I know nVidia suggests 750W, but I guess it's just in-case you have an Intel CPU).
Use DLSS and Frame Generation.
This is _probably_ the best bang-for-buck setup, probably even _capable_ of 4K gaming.
Finally don't just believe my words and do your own research - I might be wrong.
The 4070 Ti is a beast of dead GPU with its VRAM for 4k Gaming.
It's a good 1440p gaming and soon will be a very good 1080p GPU (will need to be paired with a 7800x 3D at this moment)

I paired it with my older ryzen 5 5600x and with DLSS 3 enabled I don't have a problem. In CPU heavy games if I have 250 or 220 fps doesn't make any difference for me.
5800x3d would cover you for couple more years then!
