    This keyboard is a refurbished of a chinese keyboard Miller GM807. An Indonesian Brand by the name of Koodo also have the same keyboard but with koodo sticker on the side (It also come with various gateron switches such as blue, brown, red and also gateron yellow.) I bought this keyboard with gateron yellow on July and damn son this keyboard fking rock. I must say the software is pretty cluncky but the price to performance of this keyboard is A1. This keyboard is basically a middle finger to drop ctrl. My main issue is that the RGB doesn't shine bright enough to show maximum pc master race power and increase my fps, but if you want you could add some pudding keycaps and improve the shine, but not by much.

      @DLockes well it depends what do you like and how much you are willing to spend on those, I like PBT doubleshot backlit keycaps. but there are some ABS keycaps that have a far superior quality than those you can find in low budget mechs, in the end it's all about personal preference, and to really find the keycaps you like you need to try them at the store or try your luck on the web, I can tell you right now I'm using tai-hao's and I'm quite happy about it.

    I decided to buy lite version instead and it is good for around $35 or 1700php. Almost half the price of the pro version 3200 php or $65.
    Pros:
    Replaceable keycaps
    Hot swappable
    RGB
    Type C
    TKL
    Volume scroll
    Customizable software
    Cons compared to pro:
    No bluetooth (Don't need it)
    Outemu hot swappable only (still a lot of switch options and cheaper too)

    I must say, I would've liked the magnetic top cover a lot better, not just for convenience but also because it gives you the option to keep it off altogether and just have a floating keys board. If I were to get one of these, I'd get the barebone version, but I'm not a fan of the white cover. It also baffles me why they'd only offer this in two keyswitch options that're both clicky and use the same click mechanism, to begin with. I can only guess that Rakk wanted to avoid the supply problems Tecware ran into when trying to release the Phantom Elite. Here in the Philippines, only 3 switch options are available out of a promised 9 for the Elite, and plans stalled completely for releasing the other versions and to sell separate switch packs as originally intended.
    It's also speculated that the Kailh Speed Bronze switches also didn't catch on when they were released a few years back because their 1.1mm high actuation point was raised above the tactility and click, so its possible to actuate them without even activating the feedback. Dunno if that was ever fixed, because the high actuation is sort of the entire point of the switch, but it makes me think that Rakk went for them probably because there was a lot of surplus available.

      @thonygenz0 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      1. Rebranded keyboard. Rakk can't make their own design because it would cost more. They can only make little changes to the board like stabs comes with pre-lubed etc but design wise, they can't.
      2. We suggested to Rakk to sell additional covers for customizability especially for the Barebones ver.
      3. Switches they offered are all clicky due to the market research they conducted. They are not planning to get other switch types soon. Thats why they are also selling the barebones ver. We tried to no avail.

    • @Boyetto-san
      @Boyetto-san 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@thonygenz0 I'm aware that the keyboard is a rebrand of an OEM, and that this wasn't Rakk's own call, but seeing as how the same OEM likely also did the Illis, it's strange why they decided to change from using magnetic covers.
      As for the switches, it's still strange why they decided to offer two clicky switches that work much the same way as each other, just that one has a particular design flaw. They could've saved money by offering just the BOX White, which I find is a much better clickbar switch overall.

    • @thonygenz0
      @thonygenz0 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Boyetto-san Again. They either switch OEM or OEM didn't bring the old design to this particular board.
      They had to offer 2 types of switches and would prefer tactile variant but due to their research they choose clicky variants. Those two are still different kinds of switch. I haven't heard any flaws from the bronze until now and the current sample we had is the bronze and i am happy to report that i haven't experience this flaw you talking about.

    • @Boyetto-san
      @Boyetto-san 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@thonygenz0 Just to clarify, I never blamed Rakk for the change in top cover attachment, I'm just questioning the OEM's decision to do it and that I still prefer the magnetic design. Not much anyone can do about it, but just my two cents.
      As for the switches, I guess Kailh may have already made adjustments, since reports of the mismatch between actuation and feedback came from around the time when the switches were first released. Or maybe the mismatch was just never as noticeable as some said they were. I still think the two switches are way too similar to each other, but again that's just my opinion.
