Team losi xx Where to start?

Team Losi XX Where to start with this old school modern technology.
Should i start and get a new body, and I know I'm have to find rear arms. Then electronics should I go retro or should I go modern brushless?
For set up, ive seen Gabe Boudreau and Brian Kinwald set up from 1997, and do i still have those pistons.
