Daal is basically lentil preparation with moong dal and masoor dal with equal proportion or however you like . No tarka only salt is added and some green chilli or coriander which is optional .

Main traditionally prepared item are not easily found since it is prepared with rarely found leaf called Phrynium pubinerve .. inside it sticky rice is prepared and that can be eaten with smoke pork orr dry fish..

Elephant apple is available in other parts of Northeast as well. Arunachal pradesh, Tripura, Manipur. Thailand has lots of elephant apples.
