Good video, thanks for sharing. I got one delivered today from Liverpool to the Wirral in North West England. It cost less than £10 with delivery. Its in similar condition to your model. Nice all round radio although FM mode has a fault on mine. I have been picking up some good reception on short wave band 2 today. I clipped a wire to the telescopic aerial to improve its performance.
Hi - Nice radio this one Phil. I recently got hold of one. One thing I don't understand is that small 'speaker' on the right. Mine has no sound coming from it and after looking at an exploded diagram in the service manual it appears to be nothing more than cosmetic. I could well be wrong! Does yours have sound coming from it? Cheers.
Hi, thanks for your comments. I tend to agree, certainly on AM, the second speaker doesn't appear to work but on FM, it maybe only produces highs if you listen very carefully. Maybe it's my imagination! They are good radios non the less. Cheers...... Phil

On FM the band switch should be set to SW1 as per the manual.
