We had a 1st gen Echo in our master bathroom for listening to music in the morning th-cam.com/users/postUgkxABghAEkaIDGZfHRBH3D3rBrlraNmnC71 and while in the shower. I didn't realize how tinny and awful the sound output on the original Echo was until we replaced it with the Studio. It was a sonic upgrade far beyond what I was expecting. Just wow. I love it because it's like having speakers IN the shower. My friend likes it because the music is so loud that she can no longer hear me singing. So that's a win-win.
do you need a firestick to get Dolby Atmos even on PC?? even if I connect it with a Toslink/optical cable? if so fo you connect the fire stick to the gaming monitor or the PC?
@@stephenmiller2048 yes I did and I am still having issues. It definitely is not as simple as Amazon would lead you to believe. I have 2 wifi networks in my home for redundancy. Both have a 5ghz and 2ghz channels. One is a Samsung mesh and the other other is an old Asus. Both attached to the same modem. Apparently it does not play well with Samsung. I got audio shuddering at the beginning of dialog when paired with fire tv. When I changed to the Asus it the distortion stopped. Within the app pairing was easy. I ran into a problem when I restarted the my home theater setup. That is one 4k fire tv and 2 echo studios. When I started fire tv they would not reconnect and I could not find a consistent way of making them reconnect. They tended to spontaneously reconnect after 5-10 min which was annoying. Lastly i recently got the updated version of the alexa app and the connection stopped. It would not repair. Ive taken a break from getting it to work smoothly. I think the app is the main driver behind the latest round of issues.
@@rvfinney3 I have issues too with a mesh network that I have. Seems like the issue is that the mesh technology change the firestick to 2.4Ghz when paired to the Echo Studio, so internally the 2 devices are in different networks. So, to solve the issue, in the mesh network I created a guest network that use only 5Ghz and connect both devices to this network and the issue was solved.
Thanks for the reply! Does anyone know if you are using two studios connected to the TV with an optical cable to one speaker, will two speakers then work with Atmos and function as a stereo pair?
@@AxelMann I haven't received an answer on this, but searching around the net, I don't think it's possible. The Studio speakers seem very limited in their connectivity, especially if you want them to work as a stereo pair. Amazon seem to want you to just use their Firestick. A real shame as these speakers could be great for a lot of people. I'm looking elsewhere
Can you get sound from the TV as well as the Echo Speaker when creating a home cinema via the Alexa app. I only get sound from my Echo speaker and nothing from my LG B9 OLED TV. Any advice would be appreciated.
The thing is, I wanna be able to use them with regular cable on my TV, I got a 4K Samsung TV but it can only pair to one speaker, I know I can buy the 4K stick to use them paired for it but what about connecting it to the 4K TV as speakers, any suggestions?
RCA left and right out female on TV > RCA left and right male to 3.5mm TRS stereo female > 3.5mm TRS stereo male to 3.5mm female TS mono right and 3.5mm female TS mono left > two 6 ft. cables both of: mono 3.5mm TS male to 3.5mm TS male cables (one for left speaker, one for right speaker) > plug in to the inputs on your speakers. That is how you can use these speakers with your TV’s RCA outputs. If your TV does not have left and right RCA outputs or a 3.5mm stereo TRS line output then you need to buy an HDMI audio extractor with a 3.5mm TRS stereo output and follow from that point on in my cable listings above. If you want to take it even further, get an HDMI audio extractor with all 5.1 RCA mono outputs and get 6 RCA male to 3.5mm TS mono cables (12 ft. or more, depending on your needs) to your speakers. No, it won’t be Dolby Atmos but it will be Dolby Digital 5.1. For your reference (if you’re a self-proclaimed audiophile): I’m a cable builder, so if you don’t know what TRS or TS means, I’ll tell you... TRS just means “Tip, Ring, Sleeve” and TS just means “Tip, Sleeve”. It’s a way of identifying the solder points on the inner part of the connector which lead to the outer parts. The largest of this kind is called a Pentaconn plug, which Sony and Sennheiser are using now for balanced connections instead of the cleaner choice of dual 3-pin XLR or 4-pin XLR. The balanced Pentaconn 4.4mm plug is a TRRRS (Tip, Ring, Ring, Ring, Sleeve) which is a better choice than the next one because it has 5 connection points where you have a hot and neutral for each channel plus you have an extra for cable or chassis ground! There is also a 2.5mm TRRS balanced plug, but since it only has 4 connection points it has no ground. The disadvantages of any TS, TRS, TRRS, or TRRRS of any size is that when you unplug it from your amp it can potentially short out your amp. That is why using XLRs or mini-XLRs are much safer. I’d show you a picture of my $80,000 headphone amp build but I don’t think I can post a picture in a reply.
So if you use a pair of these and want to connect them to a TV via the mini toslink do you only need to connect one of the speakers up to the TV and the other will output the sound?
I dont know what ive done but can only play music through the echo studio i have echo cube, but can't get any sound from the echo studio when playing a movie or if i change a setting i get sound through the tv not echo studio? Also the app has been updated and is not the same as described in your video ...how is echo studio connected to the TV? is it via wifi? Or Is it a physical connection? If i ask alexa play the best 3D music all i get is "3D music is only available on the echo studio" but Alexa voice sound comes through the echo studio?? Totally confused and i'm not sure if the echo studio is faulty or echo cube or the app totally confused now! Please any advise.. OMG finally got it to work!!!
Hi mate looking to get 2 of these can you please tell me if I can play dolby atmos from plex or vlc player or kodi ? Or is dolby atmos only supported from prime and Netflix only? I want to watch movies in atmos.
So, if I want the Echo Studio to work with both the Fire TV (to get Dolby Atmos!) and also while watching common tv channels, I have to link the Echo Studio via both the Fire TV AND the optical cable, or the Fire TV is sufficient, and it will also activate the sound while watching regular television? If it's not sufficient and I have to link both ways, won't it conflict? Thanks much to anyone who'll answer! :)
I had quite some trouble setting the cube and echo studio to work with atmos etc but is working now yeagh its pretty good, but now i find the sound is out of sync! Now i have set it up, how can i easily change the lip sync correctly do i have to start all over again and setup again?
Hello, thanks for making amazing video, I'm having echo 3rd generation, willing to buy Dolby Atmos soundbar but after watching this video I'm going to quit soundbar & going for echo studio, will you please tell me without hdmi Earc port in echo studio it gives the same result while pairing & secondly can I connect both the echo device together with lg c9 oled, my tv is also having inbuilt alexa features, in this situation when I command to alexa which alexa will listen & work? Plz help me, God Bless.
You can use a toslink to mini optical cable to plug it directly into the TV and get dolby digital audio for any source, no Atmos this way though. Only pairs with fire stick 4k & fire cube for Atmos, and fire TV 3rd gen for Dolby Digital Plus. If the TV has Alexa built in it should work if you group the devices in the Alexa app
David Okyere yes these are great Atmos sounding speakers. I thing I don’t like is you can’t use them on anything but the 4K fire stick and fire cube for home theatre and Dolby Atmos. But I’m sure someone can figure out how to use it for other than fire stick.
Thank for your video! I cannot confirm any problems with setting up 2 Echo Studio as home theatre, it works great. I even use it together with my Echo Sub, all at Fire TV Cube.
@@magicians4christ I tried both varients and think for movies (with Dolby) they sound better with Echo sub, for listening music only you may prefer the 2 echo studio alone. I don't recommend just one Echo studio together with the sub, it's unbalanced to my ears.
What am I doing wrong?? My Studio paired with The Fire TV Cube just has the worst lip syncing ever. The minute you change the lip sync slider, it works but then other apps are now off.
The only problem that I have is that when there is a power outage, sometimes I have to go back into the Alexa app and set everything up again because my router has assigned everything new IP numbers when the power comes back on. A workaround would be to go in the Admin setup of the router an permanently assign an IP per device, but the average user is not going to know how to do that.
Have you had any issues with audio dropouts when using it in home theatre mode? I (and others it would seem) have yet there doesn't appear to be a solution. I was hoping a software update may have sorted it.
@@monkeycsl The issue seems to have resolved itself at my new home with a new ISP. Faster broadband and a better router seems to have sorted it. Fingers crossed.
I don’t have a fire TV,but I would assume if you put a stick on the Tv it would work if you change the source to the hdmi input the stick is on. They will add it to the TV’s at some point I’m sure.
So I'll always get Dolby Atmos?? I appreciate you showing the setup but it would be nice to know that almost no one has movies or music recorded in Atmos at all.
Hi there! Thinking about buying an Echo studio to connect it via Bluetooth to my smart projector for Tv/PS4 gaming and to my Firestick 4k for Atmos movies. Worth it? Thanks
I have just setup my New 4K Firestick as home cinema to my new echo studio, but my echo studio is placed to the left hand side of my bedside table and not in front of my TV, I also have a Yamaha Soundbar directly in front of my actual TV, how do I switch between my soundbar and the echo studio without having to delete the home cinema setup from the Alexa app every time, can this be done? Sometimes I’d like to use my soundbar when watching stuff on my fire tv, other times I may want to use the echo studio because of the atmos feature snd 3D audio, 🤷🏻♂️
Just got two of these on sale with two smart bulbs and two echo shows as freebies. I should've grabbed the firestick 4K while it was on sale but wasn't sure if I wanted to keep these vs Sonos one SL. The Sonos sound really deep and crisp until about 70% volume then the circuitry eases the bass to almost zero to prevent the speaker from rattling/vibrating. These Echo Studios lets you know about its lower note performance immediately during setup when it emits a low note frequency to adjust its sound output based on its placement in the room. The pair of Echo Studio's really outclassed the pair of Sonos One SL's that I got from Costco for 10-15 bucks more with sale price and the extra freebies. Now I gotta catch the Firestick 4K or Cube on sale to experience Dolby Atmos.
Now that Echo 4th Gen are out with Atmos support. Can we use 2 of them and Echo Studio to have 2.1 Atmos setup? I am not sure how they will stand against standard 2.1 NonAtmos /DD. Can we have a new video on that!!!
I've a Yamaha soundbar with subwoofer....can I connect an echo device to the soundbar and then with two echo studio to create a home theater setup...will it work ? I mean will the echo studios and the sound bar connected to echo dot play simultaneously
I am wondering what the easiest way is to connect 2(!) Echo Studio with my TV for using the echos also for PS4 and normal TV channel audio? Any advice someone?
Setting 2 up for stereo works as advertised and isn't any more difficult than setting up 1. Sounds great. Tried it with the Echo sub but think it sounds better without. You can boost the Echo Studio's bass in the Alexa app which, to my ears, sounds better than using the Echo sub. Plus, when the Echo sub is connected, I had occasional problems with the sound just coming out of the sub. Restarting the sound source once or twice usually corrected this but didn't seem worth it to me.
Hi. I watched the echo studio setup video for Atmos but still have a number of questions (since the video desvribes the procedure of r one Echo Studio only. Then I saw your comment and thought maybe you would be willing to answer my questions yourself since you have already had the experience with TWO Echo Studios. I also have two but haven't set them upon yet for fear of doing it wrong. I am setting them up to the right and left of my 4K LG TV which I operate using a FireStick 4K and am a Prime and Netflix subscriber. I want to use the two speakers for Atmos when viewing the TV and also for stereo when listening to music. However, I am confused about several things. (1) do I set them up individually first like I did with the dot I'm replacing. . . and then move onto an Atmosphere setup?, (2) do I set them up simultaneously (is that even possible)?, (3) do I choose "stereo pair" or choose "cinema/ or theater" in the Alexa app?, etc. Would you be so kind as to provide me with detailed instructions as to how you did yours (or direct me to a posted detail). My email address is phillipsheeler@me.com. Your response would be very much appreciated as I am anxious to proceed with my setup but don't want to create problems by using the wrong procedure. Finally, did you set yours up just for stereo or for Atmos on both sides of your TV?
@@phillipsheeler3228 Initially set each speaker up just like your other echo devices. Then set up "Home Theater", selecting your Fire TV (4K stick or Cube). Once this is set up, if you watch a video through your Fire TV device, it should play through the speaker. Assuming you have a subscription to Amazon Music HD, you can play music either through the Amazon Music HD app on the device or directly through the Echo Studio speakers (by using the standard voice commands). If you do the latter. the speakers will communicate with the fire TV and show the song name and album graphic (or lyrics if available).
@@holly86james88 Thank you so much for taking the time to answer my question. I will follow your instructions and keep my fingers crossed. Thanks again.

I have followed this guide but on netflix, atmos contents shows "5.1" not atmos like when you connect real atmos system, and also is there anyway to watch preview clip again? im using fire stick 4k
Do I need a Fire tv cube or a stick if my television already has Amazon built into the os? It would be redundant for me to hook another device if my TV has these features built in. Perhaps I wont get Atmos but I can live with that.
@@TechKnightBrit Thanks for the response!!! Guess stereo pairing is out with optical, also been reading the optical method is problematic with frequent cut outs. I guess this will get an update in a year and maybe these issues will be addressed.
FYI please never go for those cheap tv’s that have all this built in like what u have and roku. Spend the money and get a Samsung which is best or LG/Sony. Still u will want to use fire sticks and upgrading them at least every two years. Technology changes all the time and your stuff will be outdated constantly and they just don’t work as well when integrated into the tv.
You will need the FireTV Cube or Stick in order to setup the Hometheater sound. You need the physical device to talk to each other for the speaker to work. The Amazon on your TV is only allowing you to access the entertainment programming.
I have a FireTV Cube that’s connected to my TV with a sound bar. Will this work in conjunction with the sound bar or will audio only be heard from the Echo studio? Thanks and have a good day!
I have a Amazon 4 series tv that I'm trying to connect with echo studio. I will connect it to my home wifi and then set them up as a home theater. After I do this the studio connects to an Amazon wifi. When this happens I can't adjust bass, treble, or mid range. I've spoken with 8 different associates and been offered a new device. I connected my other studio in the same fashion and was faced with the same problem. Does anyone have any advice?
I have connected Echo Studio to my cube, but I can't hear room or 3D sound. I have upgraded Netflix to Premium and also subscribed to Amazon Music HD. But neither on the 3D playlist nor on movies like Dark or Lost in Space or with a demo Atmos video on TH-cam I can hear spatially. The sound clearly only comes directly from the studio. I even had it reset and re-measured, but no improvement. Am I doing something wrong? The sound is good, but not 3D as it should be with Atmos?
I have FireTV cube setup as a Hometheater with two Echo Studios and an Echo Sub plus Four Smart bulbs in my room, which I can change the colors and density. FireTv is on HDMI 3, Cable is on HDMI 2, and Playstation is on HDMI 1. I can easily switch to the different devices. The sound only works with the Studio setup. I only have the one Studio Pair. I would love to get a wireless back channel and center channel to work with the FireTV, but beggars can't be choosers. I can say, "Alexa, goodnight!" and she turns off my TV and all the lights, or I can say, "Alexa, good morning!" and she turns the TV and lights on. I of course configured her to do this.
If you want to do sound with anything else that isn't the firestick 4k though (like PS4 / Switch etc) you can only do this on one speaker via optical cable right? I just don't see this being worth it unless you only use a fire tv as your only input source.
@@curionion I found the atmos made it sound like it has more hight and fills up the space in front of me better, but you can never replace real surround speakers. I'm hoping amazon will put out an update allowing me to add surround speakers in the future. But my set up has way more bass than the beam, even without the echo sub.
is Fire Stick required for Dolby Atmos even if Netflix is coming from Apple TV (which supports Atmos) and/or LG C9 (which also supports Atmos)? In other words, is it even possible to connect the Echo S to TV or Apple TV?
@@-_-4463 Thank you, very nice of you to help out, nice to see that on top of quality content. I'm buying Echo Studio because of your video and I'll add the Fire Stick to enable Dolby Atmos. But is this true Dolby Atmos, I mean, I always thought Atmos required multiple speakers with some of them behind you and some even on the ceiling for helicopters flying over you and such, does Echo Studio simulate that so effectively, is it considered a "true" Dolby Atmos speaker? Because this would make it an unbelievable deal at €200, soundbars with Atmos don't even start at a much higher price so is Echo Studio's sound comparable to an Atmos soundbar?
@@-_-4463 I checked around a little and while there are cheaper Atmos single speaker units available now, p.ex. the super cheap Vizio or Sony HT-X8500, the consensus seems to be that this is simulated Atmos and that with the possible exception of Sennheiser Ambeo, nothing can make up for lacking multiple speakers and most customers and reviewers seem to prefer Sonos Beam to quasi Atmos soundbars despite Beam lacking Atmos. Would you say Echo Studio is a better choice than Sonos Beam for movie watching?
Since the latest updates 2.1 home theatre is now working fine with two Studios and Sub.Only issue i had was sound on TH-cam was out of sync whilst everything else was spot on.Hopefully just a minor glitch/bug to iron out.Movies on both Amazon & Netflix via the 2nd gen cube sound amazing.

sean sandals make sure they are all up to date, and the app,and the stick as well. They can not be in any other group. If that all fails then unregister the stick and dots and then set them back up and they should work. P.S only the 3rd Gen. dots work as I understand it,and both speaker have to be the same.

At night I want to use the tv speaker only but I haven’t found a way to do it without unpairing the tv and the echo first. I’ve got to echo studios paired up with a fire TV 4K and they work great. I’ve not found anybody who hasn’t been impressed by the sound. Far better than my £500 Yamaha sound projector. Can anybody tell me how to make optical import audio come through both speakers as it’s only comes through the one speaker the optical cable is connected to?
I got mine today and I’m not impressed so far. Just sounds like a big speaker. I have Amazon music HD and the 3D songs won’t stream in 3D only Ultra HD. It’s like there no Atmos at all
I am very happy with my Echo Studio. The sound is absolutely incredible. I am noticing Dolby Atmos or spatial audio works even without the fire TV. If you have it connected through optical.
I am not a big sports guy nor do I watch a lot of big blockbuster films. I pretty much watch shows on Netflix or Prime. Would one Echo Studio be enough for a normal sized living room? I don't mind spending the money on another one, or even another one and a sub, I just don't want to buy more than I need for my usage.
What about Bluetooth Lateny and Quality loss? Its sad that if you want Atmos, you only can chose Bluetooth and not a Cable! Thats a pain in the ass. If you plugin an optical cable, you dont have latency and dont loss sound quality, but you're losing Dolby Atmos -.-. So if i would connect with Bluetooth, do the Fire TV 4K Stick has an audio latency correction, or the cube?
I'm a little confused, I thought Dolby Atmos was about overhead speakers! besides with object-based audio don't you at least need a 5.1.2 set up.? I think I will stick with my 5.2.2, besides I love my base. I must admit (reluctantly) it does sound good. Very good video explained articulately
@@TechKnightBrit bouncy bouncy audio upward firing speakers at a lot better then TV speakers and even better than a normal soundbar but at the end of the day it's still bouncy bouncy,! I've gone through the bouncy modules and my advice is skip this shit it and go for for the Real McCoy and get yourself ceiling speakers or if that's too much work for you get yourself some height speakers the difference is like black and white, it really all depends on your viewing and audio habits, don't forget the average person watches 10 years of their life in front of a TV isn't it worth getting it right, go and get yourself a AV receiver, I promise you will never regret it, especially nowadays with all the streaming!
@None of Urbiz everything's nowadays is Dolby Atmos this Atmos that and you're absolutely right people are buying into this bs, I have a LG OLED E8 which has its own Atmos soundbar (virtual sound!)even though it does sound quite good it's nothing in comparison to with dedicated separate speakers being driven with some sort of amplification/AV receiver. There is absolutely no way you can get Dolby Atmos when all the speakers are within a couple of feet of each other, the system should be better regulated so consumers can understand the difference between Dolby true HD Dolby Atmos and of course at the bottom 'VIRTUAL' Dolby Atmos!
@None of Urbiz you must like being right because you're right again, I could have a $1,500 soundbar and it would still sound nowhere near as good as $200 stereo speakers even if they were purchased back in the 90s, stereo speakers do not degrade, I'm not quite sure about this modern shit though. Besides music is mastered in stereo (2 channel audio) so therefore Music should be music listened to in stereo!
The main issue I'm having with all of this is, you don't seem to be able to play music without the TV coming on -- and 55" worth or album art is way too much! (Disclaimer: I have only tried this with 2x Echo gen 2s)
I own a Dolby Atmos equipped recording studio so I have an incredible amount of money invested in seeing Dolby Atmos replace stereo as the main way we listen to music/film/tv... but this doesn't look to be a decent option. What do they expect you to do with a mono speaker for a 7.1.4 and larger format? Link 11 of them and place them around the room along with a subwoofer? Is it even still a cheap "budget" option at that point? How many of these do you have to buy before it becomes cheaper just to buy a low-end Atmos system and get better sound? We have an Echo in the studio. We use it to make sure audio will sound good enough on even the worst sounding playback devices (like Echo).
What would be interesting (at least for me): I have two Echo Studio in Stereo SetUp. Is there any way to use them in combination with my PC (and eventually even Benefit from Dolby Atmos watching Prime Videos via the Amazon Prime App for Windows 10)?
Sounds like a lot of noise through my phone. How are the"voice details"? I'm always worried that I can't hear WTF people are saying in the movie due to all the other noise pollution.
It only works with apps running through the fire stick or cube. Tv speakers for everything else which creates an issue for me. I play a lot of games on xbonex. My sound bar is good enough for now.

Hello, Dolby Atmos is a surround-sound technology that reproduces several audio tracks at the same time, providing the experience of multiple sound sources. Currently, Dolby Atmos works with Dolby TrueHD and Dolby Digital Plus systems. Dolby Digital Plus is a compressed audio format that has been optimized for use with streaming services and features. It's currently supported by a wide range of devices, including Fire TV. Dolby Atmos over Dolby Digital Plus is the standard in digital streaming. Please note, all equipment included in your home theater system must be compatible with Dolby Atmos for it to work. At this time, Dolby Atmos is available on a number of Prime Video shows, including the Amazon Original "Jack Ryan". Third party streaming services, such as Netflix, do not currently support Dolby Atmos.

So, to solve the issue, in the mesh network I created a guest network that use only 5Ghz and connect both devices to this network and the issue was solved.

connect Optical-out from TV to Mini-optical-IN to Echo Studio (I am assuming you S. TV has an optical out)
RCA left and right out female on TV > RCA left and right male to 3.5mm TRS stereo female > 3.5mm TRS stereo male to 3.5mm female TS mono right and 3.5mm female TS mono left > two 6 ft. cables both of: mono 3.5mm TS male to 3.5mm TS male cables (one for left speaker, one for right speaker) > plug in to the inputs on your speakers.
For your reference (if you’re a self-proclaimed audiophile):
I’m a cable builder, so if you don’t know what TRS or TS means, I’ll tell you...

How is it possible to replicate the rear speaker experience? Isn't that surround sound is all about??

The Alexa control controls the volume on Echo Studio speakers and Sub. The sound on the FireTV itself is muted.

Can you pair one Echo Studio and two Echo 3rd generations or only two Echo Studios?
Only two of the same type, in a home theatre set up, you can pair any type in a multiroom setup.

Optical only supports Dolby Digital signal though and not even DTS signal so I don't see how what you said even is possible.

Yeah I get that, really annoying
Great stuff!!
Will it work with Xbox
It only works with apps running through the fire stick or cube. Tv speakers for everything else which creates an issue for me. I play a lot of games on xbonex. My sound bar is good enough for now.

Hi. I enjoyed watching your Echo Studio setup video for Atmos but still have questions (since the video describes the procedure for one Echo Studio only. I have 2 Echo Studios but haven't set them upon yet for fear of doing it wrong. I am setting them up to the right and left of my 4K TV which I operate using a FireStick 4K and am a Prime and Netflix subscriber. I want to use the two speakers for Atmos when viewing the TV and also for stereo when listening to music. However, I am confused about several things. (1) do I set them up individually first like I did with the echo dot and then move on to an Atmos setup?, (2) do I set them up simultaneously (if that is even possible)?, (3) do I choose "stereo pair" or choose "cinema or theater" in the Alexa app?, etc. Would you be so kind as to provide detailed instructions as to how to d o this (or direct me to an already- posted detail). My email address is phillipsheeler@me.com if you choose to respond directly. I am anxious to proceed with my setup but don't want to create problems by using the wrong procedure. Finally, will a single setup provide both Atmos for movies and stereo for music or do I have to switch back and forth?
Something went wrong I don’t hear anything out the speaker
Wow so cool
Nice one
The setup is good however once I connect via a VPN the echo studio loses sound ....soon as I disable the VPN the sound works ...this is with the likes of Netflix Kodi etc 😬 so when using the likes of Kodi I have to revert to the TV speakers
I did not have to put on headphones to listen to this video as I have the Echo studio connected to PC. Sounds Just as if I had the Dolby for headphones on . I think the Studio is going to stay with the PC as I already enjoy the Sony system connected to TV. The Echo Studio will replace the Sony soundbar my PC is normally attached too.
How did you hook the studio up to your PC?
@@Povell81 connected to analog 3.5mm jack on pc. Realtek audio manager then popped up. It only let me set as stereo. opened sound configuration in windows control panel ,under spatial sound tab i was able to choose Dolby. I plan to get the optical to mini optical cable to use instead of the analog 3.5mm cable later.
Be great to have two studio speakers and an Amazon base speaker probably would blow you away. 🤪🤕
So i was debating if i should buy the "BOSE Speaker 500" that runs $299.00 (300.00) or the 'Echo Studio Dolby' for 199.00 (200.00) i use the Alexa app for everything already, I have a BOSE sound bar and and older BOSE home theater system that works well and 3 wall speakers, so i think this would be a nice addition :)
(i really want to hear the ES & D so i can hear it) BOSE sounds good as usual :)
It’s definitely worth comparing
Just got this few hours ago, now I realised its speakers can output up to 330w. Don't think I'll ever be able blast it. 😅
My brother got himself a Jam and has around 15w which I taught its way too much. Mine is soooo much overkill.
2020 took me weeks to get a straight answer from amazon. but id recomend not buying 4k stick due to lazy suport. and give fire 4k stick users the right knowledge.
this is from them to me. and all i wanted was to know if they suported atmos, they insisted they do. not in netflix and plex the 2 most widly used services i think.
his is from amazon today, i thought id share it with you. looks lkike amazoin are slow, as netflix streams atmos properly on apple tv, nvidia shield and xbox one i think their coment about it being a digital ststreaming standard to bs speak for ops were rubish lol.
Hello,
Dolby Atmos is a surround-sound technology that reproduces several audio tracks at the same time, providing the experience of multiple sound sources.
Nicely done video. I tried the Echo Studios and their subwoofer but sent it all back. It is vague, sloppy, mid-fi at best, with hollowed mids, poor dynamics, muffled voice, unstable imaging and so many other problems. I went over the issues with support, thinking that something must be wrong. After 20 minutes the answer was “it’s only $200, and you’re expecting it to sound like high-end audio”.
Nice
