Their fabulous I didn't realise you can decoupage into slate and the paint on the back really gives it a gorgeous look. Thanks for that Becky. Loved it. ❤️

Love these Becky you have made them look so different and they are so colourful much better than the plain slate. Great idea for a useful and practical gift ❤️👍
I use that varnish too, I have the flat crystal one, it goes a long way, I painted my black wrought iron headboard with white chalk paint and sealed it with Polyvine, it feel amazing, like it's metal, the paint isn't going anywhere. I got my varnish off amazon, think I paid around £20 xx
I've had a slate place setting for ages and was wondering what I could do with it as I didn't think you could decoupage slate! Thank you, as always for your inspiration. Xxxxxxxxxxx

Very pretty. Does the wax varnish protect it from hot coffee and Ice water?
yes mine have been fine
Sweet😍🇺🇸
So with the black slate edge
Hi im finding that when i bob a hot coffee cup on, its sticking to the coaster. Ive used mod podge. Do you have any advice pls?
maybe try a sealer called triple thick ?
I used sticky peel back paper. When I applied the Mod Podge Glue it bubbled up. Can you please give me any advise
The problem is the sticky peel back paper, Use napkins or rice paper with modpodge
Is the top coat waterproof
yes
