Formula Drift Japan Sim Practice - Okayama International Circuit

- I have been training on Assetto Corsa for Formula Drift Japan for months now and with the FD Japan season approaching I am practicing every competition round on my drift sim, with Round 5 being at Okayama International Circuit! Okayama is such a gnarly track with a highspeed entry and multiple outer zones on walls, it makes for a very fast and fun track and some crazy tandem battles! I drove the Tsujigiri RB27 swapped Nissan S14 Silvia with sequential transmission and Wisefab angle kit since its fairly similar to my IRL drift car, Nissan Skyline R32 with RB30! Next up is practicing for FDJ Round 6 at Fuji International Speedway!

sick this track looks fun, haven't tried on assetto but have watched it irl. Quick question for anyone really, I know what touch and go's, outer zones, and inner clips are, but are there any other things like that to know about on drift tracks that new people might not know about? Im still learning tbh
Like for comps or just general drifting?
@@HaugenRacing I'd say more for comp like for example when you showed the track line at 1:00 , I never knew you needed to be drifting by the time you got to that line so its cool learning that stuff.
@@xander7099 braking zones, areas where the momentum of the cars will slow down, this is mainly to help judge if a following car makes a mistake they can check if the lead car was in the decel zone

@@alicencottew8224 Ahah no worries!!! And yeah we kinda all have been keeping track of what's what on these tracks! Planning on doing them both in the dry and wet just to suppppper commit everything to muscle memory by the time comps come!!!
Do you get motion sickness when drifting with VR. Regular track racing and other shooting games aren't big issue, but when it comes to drifting I can barely last 5 minutes LOL.

What do you think of Simulation Squad 1:1 Pack and Arch data replacement? Arch data replacement might be difficult to find, because of the usual modding community drama which lead to Arch delete all his files from Race Department, but I would imagine they are still floating around places like Discord and / or G**H**b.
Just asking because some people say those two are the most realistic packs for Assetto Corsa and I would like to know your opinion about the subject.
I don't even own a sim rig (yet) and neither I drift in real life, but after witnessing a thread on Reddit that instantly evolved into full-blown sh**storm I became quite curious to know what the "truth" is.
Also sorry about the censoring, but TH-cam automatically removes the comment otherwise. I'm not referring to _that_ hub, but the hub centered around open-source software.
