What a lovely day out with a Whippet! Unfortunately, non-dogs are not allowed on trains in the US so my whippets only get to go places by car. Love that you all can travel together and that there are dog friendly shops, restaurants and sites.

Whippets are a breed of dog, though - how come they aren't allowed on US trains?

@@mello9598 No dogs on trains in USA. Just not allowed. Also, dogs are only allowed on a few restaurants' patios, never inside. US Health Regs are very strict. Not very allowing for pet dogs.

Just got a whippet eight months ago. He is not quite ready for adventures like this, as he is so excited when he sees others and like to jump on them, so we need a little more time and possibly training. Greetings from Virginia, USA.
