Hi Jenn and Corinna, Thank you so much for representing Minnesota on You Tube! And all you do to entertain us! Thanks for the inspiration!😁. I’d like to tell you about a new yarn shop in St Peter MN. The Yarn Shop of St Peter, the owner purchased Mary Lue and Ewe, opened in a new location in town right on Minnesota Ave. Fresh and cozy shop, knit night Thursday evenings, She has Knitting for Olive, Briggs and Little, Jameson , Blue Sky, Malabrigo , Kato yarnCo…. To name a few
Hi ladies, love the shawl and sweater. Love the WIPs they are going to look fabulous when they are finished. I am doing the MKAL, I went to Amsterdam last week and met Stephen who helped my sister and I choose our yarn. He is such a sweet man and made us feel so welcome. Hugs ❤❤❤
Hi Jenn and Corinna! Finally able to watch the podcast today! Thank yo so much for the mention of my shop! I hope the Lucky winner of the KAL Loves her new bag!! I have had a couple of new customers recent and told me heard of my shop on your podcast! Thank you so much for all your Love and Support! Loved seeing all of your knits too! Have a Wonderful time in Rhinebeck! ❤🎉😊
Thanks for the great knitting inspiration! I too sometimes get sore hands from knitting too much and I tell myself not to and I still can’t always resist. As for sports affiliations in family, I lived in southern Ontario when I first started watching the NFL so I supported the Bills along with my siblings. We still all support them and I would have to say our siblings chat thread sees the most action when the Bills are playing! Good time to knit too!
Hello from Michigan! My husband and I both grew up in Minnesota and he happened to walk into the room just as you were showing your Paul and Babe knitting bag. We got a good chuckle out of it. Love it. His parents lived in Bemidji for awhile. Loved your episode!
Hey Jenn, thanks for showcasing your new Topsail Canvas bag. It is still funny for me to see bags that I have made show up on a podcast. Yes, it has a lot of structure and the drawstring is really stiff when it is new, but it will soften with time. However, it sounds like you are barely needing to close the bag at all. Isn't it so awesome when we get addicted to a project and can't put it down. I really love the connection to all the New Brunswick knitters. My husband was listened and wondered how one of my bags got to Minnesota. Have fun at Rhinebeck. One day I will get there. But for now I will be revelling in the yarny fun at the PEI Fibre Fest with Nancy, Deborah, Leanne, Heather, Sophie, Manon, etc. Oh, and Catrina, I made the Avena sweater in colours very similar to the original. It is such a fun knit. I didn't catch any of my floats and I thought is just fine. Happy knitting. ~Sadie
I really would love to try spin cycle yarn myself, but it’s very hard to find here in Germany and even more expensive than in the states. But there is always a birthday or Christmas coming along where I can give myself a treat , isn’t there. I was planning to go to rhinebeck this year, but then i adopted a new puppy and can’t go. But next year it’s on my agenda.
Yes! Love that attitude...treating ourselves is such an important thing to remember to do! And, let's see, Rhinebeck or a puppy? Definitely the puppy! Rhinebeck will come in good time and be a mere moment! The puppy, however, will give you love everyday for years to come! Good choice!
I was lucky to find some SpinCycle yarn for sale locally at $4 a hank. Someone was selling it for their mom and I felt so fortunate to find 20 hanks. I wanted to see what all of the hullabaloo was about. I am hoarding some for a future colorwork sweater. I am a new knitter so it might be a while. It is definitely spendy especially for less yardage but I do like the color changes.
Congratulations on episode 10!!! I enjoy watching you and look forward to you both! You both give such inspiring vibes!!! Please do the recap while at Rhinebeck if time allows. My husband watches a biker vlog. When they were at Sturgis, they did a daily recap and it was a lot of fun!!! Corrina, Disney sounds like a lot of fun over Thanksgiving. No dishes to do!!! Yay! And Jenn, I’m happy your step son allowed you to take a picture quick! It gets harder and harder… these boys are rough on us mommas. They will always need us though! ❤️

That would be amazing!
Hi from north Dallas! Corrine looks so much more relaxed today I’m sure it’s hard to get use to talking into a camera.
Hello! You're right! It really can be! Dallas area, huh? Were you able to attend DFW?
@@KnittingUpNorthwithJennCorrina no I’m excited to hear about your upcoming trip to Rhinebach! Hard for old ladies to get around!
Understood...we will bring you as much of it as we can...

Wow! What a phenomenal find! Good for you! Was it all same colorway or a big variety?
@@KnittingUpNorthwithJennCorrina a big variety, Both sport and worsted with only one duplication in colorway. It was a great find!
That is fantastic! What a great find!
Corrina & Jenn, what is the name of the pattern of the bunny sweater behind you ladies??
Saski by the Petite Knitter
@@corrinaiscrafty Thank you so much & greatly appreciated!!
