This show seriously made me feel like I knew the characters, and when I finished it I missed them like I actually knew and loved them lmao. Yeah, the way this ended was stupid, like who ever wrote the law parts of this show, they really, really didn’t know what they were doing and didn’t bother to do the research, the bad guys mostly prevailed just for the sake of characters finding themselves. No one was painted in a good light, in the end, aaand the ones that did have a happy ending we’re minimal but justified. Cindy is selfish, Suzanne killed, yet again, the list of fucked up endings just goes on. If it were to portray the realities, it did with a huge stop gap. Now I like the ending to GOT over the ending of this show.
“Orange Is The New Black” is not just a show or a source of entertainment, It is a University in it’s own self. Very Educational. I haven’t watched anything else like this on Netflix so far.
@@juniperjuniperjuniper I think spinoff is great to have that kind of show still on, but they usually dont bring back old characters and I personally would like to get more closures for the characters and e.g. to see if Vauseman got to have all they wished for when they were planning their future in the camp, etc. I bingewatched it just now and it just feels like theres more to the story and like it was cut in the middle. It just doesnt feel complete :(
It really took me some time to engage with Batwoman. But I watched it anyway because of Ruby. Now that I've seen the whole season I'm soooo devastated she's left. But maybe she'll play deeper characters from now on. I'd love to see her not only portraying the androgynous, lesbian hot chick.
On a flip side... It was good that the show was not just about Piper and Alex. Because after season 4, piper's character went downhill. She did nothing in the entire 5th season except for romancing with Alex which was getting annoying. It was a toxic relationship. Also I think Joe Caputo's character didn't got enough recognition. He was a good man trapped in bad circumstances. Characters like Nicky, Suzanne, Taystee, Red were the highlights. Dogget deserved better and Taystee deserved justice.
Yeah, i seriously didn't like their relationship the more it became a on a off thing. It got annoying, even more confusing is how they're back together in the ending lmao.
This show is revolutionary. The women empowerment, the diversity in the cast, the realistic take on socio-political issues, and the acting... man, this is the best acting ensemble ever! Even the extras are quite believable.
Ever since I saw Maritza in OITNB I knew i have seen her somewhere else and never pinpointed where. Thanks for the video, now I know I first saw her in Doom Patrol, she plays Jane perfectly.
