I'm not even that interested in cameras and yet here I am not to mention I had no idea this was Brandon from LTT until I clicked on it nice to see you making your own professional grade content look forward to seeing you make more videos
The only issue is that the ZV-E10 original still exists and the fact that a6700 is better for more. The price doesn't completely justify it's overall spec and minor tweaks.
I clicked video cause of camera, then I saw talking head, I click subscribe 😁 I remember you as the go to guy regarding cameras whenever LTT did smartphone camera review, but now I've got an R50 and wanna expand my knowledge about cameras. Thinking of maybe getting this as a budget dedicated video camera that I'll rig out with a cage, top and side handles, recording monitor and battery 😆
can't wait for your fuji x-m5 review! i've been stuck in limbo trying to decide between the zv-e10 ii and the x-m5 for both video and photo purposes. hopefully, your review will help finalize my decision.
Great video really enjoyed it. I am a must-have-an-evf-guy, so I'm currently agonising between the a6700 and the a7c Mark II. I've got some jobs coming up so I've got to decide. I've never owned a full frame digital camera. It may be about time to stop compromising. If it is a compromise, that is. 😅 Subbed!
I moved from an a6600 to an A7IV earlier this year, and I'll say that the biggest difference is in low-light shooting, where the A7 is a significant upgrade. If you need something like that, then the 7C makes a lot of sense. The other thing to consider is going to be lenses, and full-frame lenses, while more expensive, are also more varied in their capabilities. My go-to lens on the 6600 was the Zeiss 16-70 f4, which is a $700 APS-C lens, and when I moved to the A7, it would have cost $1,100 for the equivalent FF lens. You'll have to weigh that kind of difference against your budget to see if it makes sense for you.
it took me a whole ass minute to realize its brandon from LTT I've been wanting more of his style of camera videos so finding this channel is cool :) I just got myself a canon R10
Damn this was a well made video, I don't need the camera, had the zve 10 mk1 and really felt the need for 10bit and had some issues with the slog3 - didn't really work the same as on other sony cameras. I own a s5ii right now and i just won't go back to anything with worse ibis, but the zve10 mkii sounds amazing for beginners!
that's probably the limitation of 8bit. I never enjoyed slog 3 on my a7iii, but slog2 and HLG were great. those profiles were designed for 8 bit encoding, while slog3 was always intended for 10 bits or higher.
I really hope they make an a6400 successor instead of E10, a6400 is still using micro-usb, not that anybody is going to use it, but it's a sign, plus there isn't any alternative to a6400 in sony's line other than E-10 which isn't suitable for photography without the micro-OLED
The X-M5 is pretty much to the X-S20 what the ZV-E10ii is to the A6700. Same video specs, same photo specs, same fan accessory but no EVF and no IBIS. When the ZV-E10ii chose to keep the larger battery, the X-M5 took the older smaller battery but retained the mechanical shutter and more control points for photo use (including twin control dials, a PSAM mode dial and a film sim dial).
@sherwinnn1919 I would personally go with the X-M5. The video specs are better to me (basically identical, but add 6.2K30 open gate video on top, which is a net benefit. With the X-S20 and A6700 comparison, you have to make a choice between cropped 4K120 and 6K open gate, here since the ZVE10ii does not have 4K120, this makes the X-M5 the better camera as far as video specs go.) AF is not the best and not as good as Sony tho, but if you rig it with cinema lenses it doesn't matter. The active cooling fan is also 1st party and doesn't require external power to run. And on top of that, the X-M5 has a mechanical shutter, and some still-focused controls which make it great to use for still also. It would pretty much be the perfect entry level camera if it had an EVF.
Love this camera and all the features packed into it, just wish they would have pushed the 4k 120 and IBIS in this generation. Most will be able to deal with the lack of this feature without iissues, but the market I occupy is action shot heavy and this would make an excellent b cam or a pocket carry run-n-go rig. I will stick with used market options for now but will keep a VERY close eye on sales and future generational improvements. Great video as always. 🫰✨
This dude looks EXACTLY like the dude from LTT
I know right, wild. Both very talented as well!
You know what? I think you might be onto something! How crazy!
I’m gonna hold you hand when I tell you this
Yeah he looks exactly like Luke from LTT. The resemblance is insane.
dayum seriously dude??
that's why feel dejavu like i've been in this place before. higher on the street and i know it's my time to go!!
I've been eyeing the Fuji XM-5. Looking forward to your review on that!!
indeed!
Basically half the battery life and worse DR + AF for a mechanical shutter

Thank you for being here!

What a great variety of footage, it was a joy to watch this video!

The a6500, a6600 and a6700 are all successors to the a6400.
Hey Brandon which of all those sony cameras you mention do you think would be the best to film footage in the street for cinematic videos?
Would u pick this over a used a7s2 or a73 or an iPhone 15 pro max? They’re all in the same price range 😮
15 Pro Max with an ssd
@ you’re a genius
@ what color 15 pro max u like, I’m leaning toward the natural titanium or blue titanium
@@LouisLuzuka both color are beautiful just go with your preference
@ u the best
Just a couple hundred more and I’d get the Canon R8, it’s full frame and has solid autofocus.

What lens goes best with this
What kinde of divice is this 3:20 ?
Didn't expect to see Brandon 🤣
This is where you are wrong the real deal is the original zv e10
try pair it with a viltrox 28mm f4.5 AF. Veryyy stealthy. I do that for my ZV-E10.
That Thypoch Simera C 🙏🏾
Shoutout to the SD Gundam
Sony urgently need a brand new processor, this has two Bionz XR limited the battery life, and all the functions in A1 II.
What battery is that that there is a USB c on the battery itself????
It's a 98wh V-mount, linked in the description
I have the zv e10 and I think the 6700 is a worthier upgrade than this. Having no evf is just too much sometimes
Lets see more cameo of your grandmother
i have a zv-e10 mark 1 and mainly use it for stills. i think i bought the wrong camera hahahaha
Dude didn't hear of catalyst browse 😅

Great video as always. 🫰✨
😮
footage is too shaky.
That was the feeling he was trying to give. It can definitely produce stabilised footage
7:27 and he was using a manual lens
Your sjots are beautifully exposed.
