Omg, thank you for this video. The loosening of the LCA literally saved the day. I wasn’t sure how I was going to do this until I saw that you had done that. THANK YOU!!!
I have the 6112 on front and have the 5100 on the rear. I am thinking about trying to 5160 instead. I work on lease roads that are wash board and big holes all day im in the oilfield in west Texas.
What about the nice wheel spacer? any information about it, by the way you do a great job one of the best i have seen so far look so easy of your fine job, thanks.
Thanks for the video. Nice job. How does it ride on road and off-road compared with stock, especially off-road? My purpose of upgrading the shocks is to go fast off-road with comfort. I often do long distance driving off-road. I have been doing some research and reaching a conclusion that 6112/5160 is the best budget friendly option for that. However, I have watched several videos and got understanding that Bilstein are generally harsh/firm side. That sounds not comfortable. What has been your experience?
It’s way firmer compared to stock. But that why people like it, stock 4Runner suspension like butter, so much body roll. It’s a budget friendly not to best for long distance offroad.
Good video. You made it look easy. Trying to decide on which jack to purchase. Is that the Long-Reach version? If so, do you find it beneficial to have the Long Reach?

Dude, how long does it take you to finish all four wheels? It seems you nailed it in one hour! Unbelievable!
This guy doesn’t talk. He’s a Chinese person that just likes weird ass beats that make no sense to the whole project.

Nice! Made it look easy. So for the front you can do it by only jacking up one side at a time? I like the safety factor in that.
Yes, exactly
Không ai chơi chung, chơi mình ên luôn.
Hey quick question I’m looking into getting this setup & wanted to keep my trd off roads wheels like yours did you have any issues with rubbing?
I don’t have any rubbing on this setup
clip set high, gonna be a stiff ride
Nice video! Did you not need to replace the rear spring or UCA? About to kit the same kit and I’m told I need both…
UCA & differential drop kit are recommended but not required. However, I do plan to install it on the 4Runner.

I got it at Harbor freight
Sweet. How is the ride on road? Height looks great, is that about an inch?
It rides way better than stock. The nose died and the floating feeling was eliminated. The front is 2.5" and the rear is 2" lift vs stock suspension.

Great video! Do you have the part numbers for the rear 5160? I must have an older version as the reservoirs are smaller on mine. Thanks!
