Nagarhole National Park is located in Karnataka.
In this dense forest, there are approximately 270 species of birds from plants and animals.It was a thrilling safari and we sighted Gaur, Spotted deer, Sambar deer, Langur, Wild boars, tiger and had a somewhat close encounter with a lone elephant.
Safari cost
Jeep - Rs.1500 per person
Bus -Rs.500 per person
Duration -3 hours

They offer simple basic accommodation basic amenities at very nominal cost (Around rs1000) and are located right inside the forest. Rooms needs to be booked in advance by contacting the Karnataka Forest Department (Tel: [phone]).
