Exactly what rubbish was autocar’s review.. bootlicking Nissan.
Faisal always puts the competitor’s clip before starting! Not joking 💀😂
It’s old news bruh 😂
@@zi420s Some kids just noticed.
Some of his old videos had Ferrari's and exotics while reviewing economy cars.
You know the third seat is absolutely useless when Faisal says it's not even for kids and alien whereas some other 7 seaters at least got that compliment
Nah nothing like that. And he's 6 feet. 98% of Indians can do very well in these cars.
@@Michael-Anghthis international nonsense of last row for child dont work here in india.
These two guys Faisal and gagan spitting facts 😂😂😂 and sharing the same car
Vikas yogi too
One interesting thing I have noticed in Faisal bhai's video, whichever car he's reviewing, his opening POV. driving scene will always be of the rival car in the segment!
9:10 They didn't activate it cuz they know everyone drives like a maniac in india. Special calibration is needed which again comes under cost cutting.
I hope Toyota launches the GR86 in India really cheap (when compared to super cars) rwd fun to drive car. A true car enthusiast car.
😂😂😂 gr86 but why!! Why would they ... 😂😂😂
Toyota is discontinuing GR86 in the Europe and UK due to GSR2 . India is also tightening its emissions norms so i don't see it making its way to india
Companies like Ford and Chevrolet backed off from India only because of the negative biased reviews from most of the car reviewers on TH-cam. But in real Ford and Chevrolet made the practical cars with only necessary features. I'm happy that Nissan brought Xtrail with variable compression 3 cylinder engine.
They left because of poor planning and over spending on wrong things coupled with bad decision making and products. GM always had quality issues and not updating the portfolio when needed, coupled with failed SAIC products meant they were losing more money in india, thus left. Ford had the opposite problem with poor decision making when they built the overbuilt Sanand factory which lost them billions, also not updating their portfolio like ecosport; the final straw was the failure of partnership with Mahindra for engines and chassis.

Wait so u like went all the way to uk to make a honest review of the xtraio so that the brand doesn't forces you to say only positives 😮😮love your dedication and truthfulness ❤❤
✌🏼✌🏼
Variable combustion is something which marine engines are using since long. I am sailing on electronic engines. The variable valve opening and variable fuel injection timing can alter the compression pressure which in turn tinkers with combustion. The variable valve timing can be achieved by camless method (activating the valves via differential control timed servo) or by shifting the cam through lost motion clutch. The fuel injection is advanced and exhaust valve timing is retarded at lower speed/ load and vice versa for higher load/speed.

Who noticed Gagan on the Backseat😂😂💯
That's coz Gagan n fasbeam weren't allowed to do their reviews of the xtrail in India. He had to go to UK along with fasbeam to get It done from there. Meanwhile here in India, he was only waiting behind the other reviewers

I do try and read all comments for the first 24 hours of the video going live ✌🏼
@@FasBeam Great bro, I'm very happy you do that!!
thank you for the honest opinion, most of the car reviewers are giving polishing reviews and not saying anything bad about the car.
This is a base variant
@@Safwan165 Nissan is just dumping the unsold variants from international market to India, whoever is buying this car is a fool and has money to burn
This will not work out for any market in the world. What do we call this?? Over confidence or ignorance? Why not Patrol for India? 5.6L V8, 400Hp for AED 240,500 in Dubai and 1.5L 3 Cylinder 161 Hp for 45L in India. If they bring in Patrol for 50L+ in India. They can definitely rule the market.
Absolutely. But Nissan and many Japanese cos do not have much hold in the markets they sell. World over, since the automobile market is very vibrant, all cars sell equally good. However, the story about India is different, as it's a special attention seeking kid in any market aspect - not just automotive, all categories rather. I rather blame the country and its clueless policies for many car cos' debacle.
@ I agree
10:22 i know this car comes in 2 row and 3 row variants but this is not a Fortuner competitor, in size or price. X-Trail competes with cx-5, rav4, tucson etc.
closest Fortuner competitor is XTERRA in my opinion.
What a road presence🔥🔥
In dubai , the x-trail doesnt have a hybrid , but a 2.5l NA 4 cylinder , but it is really comy and i think we have a way better infotainment software cuz i saw some hiccups , the ride is really nice and i was shocked when you said it had a bad ride at a low speed , but in UAE even over rocky undeveloped areas its really comfy , maybe different suspensions for the UK and India , I hope nissan implements what we get in the UAE into the X-trail , cuz if they do , im sure it would be a good car . Great Video by the way , cant wait for more !
I am driving 5 seater one since around one year. It has good legroom. Before that I was driving Kia Sportage and Toyota RAV4. I found driving this Nissan Xtrail a bit comfortable on long drives besides fuel economy.
Thanks Faisal Khan, i believe upon my request you made this vlog ;) But overall amazing vid, this particular car is known as Nissan Rogue here in the US. My dad has a 2019 Sport variant. Good car for small family and long distances, also good reliability for day to day use. Keep up the amazing work!!
Thank you buddy ❤
@faisal Why did u put in so much efforts in creating this video ?? Itna Saab kuch kiya just to make us aware about this car.
HARDLY ANYONE IN INDIA WILL BUY THIS CAR ANYWAY.
Toh itna stress kyun ??? 😂😂
Btw I must appreciate ur hardwork. One of the most trusted auto journalist in our country. Proud of u ❤
Dhandha hai uska ye chaman cyber bhai
In the USA, it is called the Nissan Rogue. It is still a great option here, available for $30,000 to $45,000 (approximately 26 to 36 lakhs INR) with a 2.5-liter petrol engine and decent features, but it comes with a CVT gearbox.
Just Buy Tata Harrier or Tata Safari which would be a decent deal.
Thanks for being honest!
Thank you for the honest review!
The passion to go to UK and show us what we are not getting ❤ u rock!!
Faisal how do you find driving in the UK compared to India?

😂
With these much less features why is it so expensive? Is it a cbu ?
Yes
Man, the only hope I have left for this car is that they'd price it at around 30 L but looking at Nissan's track record, it won't be lmao
They should have launched Nissan Terra 2.5 diesel top model here. It would have been a great car for 50-60 lakhs given the taxes and all.
Came to UK with Jonny bhaiya. Saw his video today noon. Love you both guys
Appreciate such an honest review
You are bang on bro…. I feel -
all Japanese cars have same attitude towards Indian market… Toyota, Honda, Nissan….
Xtrail is no competition to fortuner.... Xtrail direct competition to RAV4 and nissan Xterra is the direct fortuner competition.
I think same goes for the skoda kodiaq it's supposed to rival XUV 700 and tata safari
@@KuldK-m9kkodiaq competes with discontinued

You are absolutely right👍🏻
X trail is best SUV❤❤❤❤
Well said Faisal. You are one among very rare journalist who talk the facts.
See in my understanding Nissan has no plans to continue the sales of xtrail in the future. They are planning to show their presence in India or part of brand building. This is just a step to the future of their cars coming in few years. I am not fully sure on the maintenance of xtrail as it would be quite expensive and also soon they will stop the cbu imports then people who bought it is screwed. They never mentioned (or am not aware) that xtrail will be ckd in the future.
For me its a huge risk someone opt to buy this car like the Citroen C5 Aircross.
I might be wrong also. Just my thoughts.
I Was waiting for your nissan x trail video ❤❤
25 lacs was a good price point for this car
Nice review❤
The horror stories of Nissan's CVTs vs the reliability of their automatic trucks is surprising. I got the Frontier over a Tacoma a few weeks back and its been wonderful.
Are you sure the hybrid system in this car is same as honda city - 17:55 ? City uses a e-cvt gearbox to connect to wheels mechanically. This car has no mechanical connection between wheel and engine.
It works the same way, the engine doesn’t power the wheels!
Seeing this video 7 minutes after upload
Thala for every reason 😂😂

No 4wd/AWD will be a big miss. It's a recurring theme right now in the Indian market wherein car companies don't bother with offering the Indian customers any AWD option. Perhaps most Indians don't go outdoors or don't think that they will ever encounter difficult terrain enough to bother with an off-roading capable car.
Kudos to Mahindra for respecting the Indian customers and offering AWD option on most of their cars. I don't really like the design of Mahindra cars but their cars offer a lot of bang for the buck and are quite reliable enginewise. But they need to improve a lot on their car electronics which are prone to errors.
Giving great tips to Nissan. Hope they listen
21:00 agreed nissan is not reliable in us but didn't you know hyundai and kia(america not india) also facing problems even though warranty is better but it's not as effective as you think .
Thanks for exposing the truth. You da best
5:22, looks like there was a slot to put the parcel tray with all rows up right where your hand is.
Just a Doubt since Indian version comes with ADAS hardware can we Activate it by installing UK Version software? I don't think it's impossible though.
Nothing is impossible!

This is your first video where I got thoroughly confused. Dikha koi gadi rahe ho, bol kisi aur gadi ke bare mein rahe ho. Tyre size, screen size, etc., many other features - not sure what's included what's not. This is epower, strong hybrid, comes with 13" screen, but India will get mild hybrid with smaller screen. This is base variant, but India will get a reduced base variant? This car itself doesn't have many features. So what will India get then? I feel there are so many reasons to not buy this car. Wouldn't India get more variants?
Basically I am showing you the same car as the one Nissan is launching in India, minus the bigger screen while India gets a sunroof and bigger wheels.
The car I am driving is in the UK with e-power and AWD while India gets mild-hybrid with front-wheel drive!
@@FasBeam I second that. We still would like you to review the exact mild hybrid variant available in India for what it is once the price is revealed, your first hand experience of the xtrail of the model that is actually relevant to us. Pls consider that when ready.
@@sanem2555 surely!
@@FasBeam Thanks for clarifying 👍. Looks like I understood it right.
Nissan GTR aka Godzilla is legend. Supra is great but nowhere close to GTR!!
Nice video big fan
It's super light because ahss steel being used only by nissan since 2018
thumbnail : 4 reason not to buy this car . video : there is not even a single reason why u should buy this car in India😂
Nissan's strong hybrid is series hybrid technology. That with or without an e-axle for the rear is quite useless actually. So we haven't missed out on anything. Don't worry 😅.
As for the India spec offering, Variable compression ratio can be exciting but is incomplete without compression ignition petrol engine technology. So is 12V mild hybrid architecture. 20 secs of ISG assist is inadequate. With 48V mild hybrid architecture the ISG can takeover during stalling speeds whereby eliminating the need for a torque converter required to pair the ICE to the CVT. Direct drive CVT are far more responsive and efficient. I hope to see a 1.2 liter, 3 cylinder, mild hybrid direct drive CVT engine powering a Triber someday.
I have Nissan xtrail 2020 top model
Not getting one in india to review, doesn’t mean keep on bad mouthing about almost everything, there are some serious posetives and viewers should be aware.
Subtly avoiding positives and extremely vocal on bad bits you can do better.
“being unbiased whatever might be the situation is journalism”
Who said I didn't get the car to review in India? Nissan invited me to the drive event but I was traveling so I decided to source the car elsewhere.
Besides, even if I was at the drive event, my opinions would have remained the same!
And you definitely missed all the positives that I highlighted!
@@FasBeam then we all would love an exclusive video from you about why suzuki and hyundai sell and even export superior made in india products in west but not in india.
“Please be vocal about truth of car brands “🍀
Maybe Nissan didn't give 4wd because it doesn't sell much in India but Nissan should have gave strong hybrid not mild
Bro it is worth to buy 2012 skoda superb 1 lakh km running?
No
@@almondnine why
@@ManasSharma-j7c these vehicles usually have lot of maintenance frequency based problems post 40k kms. You need to clean a lot of sub-systems post 40k and 80k which are very difficult to disassemble and difficult to access, for timing chain entire engine has to be dismantled and fuel pump, everything need to be changed. It will lose reliability and parts will be hard to come by.
