Yeah the 2n'd 12inch battery powered speaker, the first being the Yorkville exm Mobile 12, this may be better. I'm 90% sold on this Mackie I believe it has a wider Frequency range than the Yorkville.
I didn't know about the existence of the yorkville exm mobile 12, but looking at its specifications I think that the mackie is much better in terms of battery life (the truth is, I haven't yet tested that it lasts 10 hours at medium volume) and of course in terms of prices since the mackie costs half as much.
@@pacotiniebla The Yorkville will no doubt drop in price and has less going for it in terms of multiple positions, battery exchange and life (as you mentioned) but being Yorkville it’s quality of build and speakers may be higher but looking at the specs (which Yorkville have not detailed professionally at all) I think I’ll go with the Mackie. It would be good to see a comparison video one day

I honestly haven't tried it, I understand that to connect a guitar it would be better to have an amp with an equalizer. As for the Mackie it has 2 TRS XLR combo inputs, depending on the drum machine you have you could connect the guitar to the drum machine and the drum machine to the speaker, for example with the Roland TR8s you could do that setup, but if you're going to use a drum machine you'll also need an additional power supply, right?
@@pacotiniebla Well... it's not really a drum machine, but the digitech trio plus (powered by a power bank). It's a guitar pedal with drums and bass playing, after you select drums genre and teach notes. I will use a small battery powered digital amp with amp simulation and effects (spark go). So the electric guitar will not be connected dry. Only the mic will be connected straight to the speaker. I will be able to mange EQ and gain for the guitar, but not for the mic. Sorry for my imprecise question, and thanks for your answer.
@@danielbarbieri8199 I think it will work fine with that setup, although it would be better to try it in a store to get your own opinion on the sound of the speaker. It doesn't have phantom power (48V) so if your mic needs it (probably not xD) you'll have to do it externally.🤔
