Awesome video! Consider picking up some cycling overshoes, helps keep your feet dry and warm on the bike in the cold wet weather.
Yes after this ride, I’m definitely going to need them. Won’t be riding in the rain when it’s chilly out unless I have them moving forward lol
What aero bars did you buy? And could you have installed them yourself, or do you recommend getting them installed by a bike shop?
For the run have a look at the nerd belt on the feed
Just wait for the Keene descent! It’s wild. I usually hit 30 mph riding the brakes! And yes practice the climbs to prepare for the 3 Bears, the last climb coming back to placid. They get tough on 2nd loop
Yeah I’ve heard it’s a killer!! Definitely need to practice a lot more on big hills to make sure I’ll be as prepared as possible

I know you’ve probably mentioned it before so if you have can you direct me to the right video but 1. What kind of bike trainer and computer set up do you use for indoors 2. What kind of road bike do you use?

Thank you for the support and congrats on the progress you’re making!! Always a great feeling knowing your work is paying off. For my indoor rides I use the Zwift hub one trainer and my bike is a Giant Contend AR!
You can set up eat/drink alerts on your Garmin devices.

Does it feel different being outside on the bike compared with indoor cycling?.
Yes definitely. I’ve been doing a lot of climbing on Zwift but when doing it outside, it felt much more challenging so still have a lot of work to do
