As someone who works at amazon the boxes could most likely be damaged and we send them off anyway. During training your told if the box is damaged (they specifically use Lego sets as an example) it’s only cosmetic damage and is still fine to send out as the set is fine inside but during Christmas time we’re told not to as it’s more likely to be a present

@@southaussiegarbo2054 I guess the assumption is that since Lego has a service where you can get free replacements for missing or damaged pieces, it will only be a minor inconvenience.

I can understand why Amazon has this policy, they didn't become a world-owning retail juggernaut by throwing away stock willy nilly after all..... but especially with something like Lego, anything collectible, the boxes are such a vital part of the long-term value of the product that I'm surprised they haven't stopped sending out damaged boxes just from the number of refunds they'd have to process from AFOLs. Mind you, I suppose hardcore collectors wouldn't use Amazon, so maybe it's just kids that are losing out from this.

With the 3 in 1 dragon review, I think the person thought you would be able to build all of the creatures, not just one. That is something I've heard a lot of non lego people think.

I got the mythical creatures 8 in 1 back before kindergarten in 06… i had no idea people would assume they came with multiple models and not just instructions … I mean even I knew at 5 years of age the scorpion wasn’t even a mythical creature but i wanted the dragons anyway 💀
Can understand that. When I was about 8-9 years old, I was given Lego creator set on New Year. It was huge red dinosaur or dragon. And my 8 year old brain thought that I can build all 5 or 7 models at the same time. I was dissapointed. About myself

So it did fly, although not quite as successfully as expected. But seen as a Lego brick is not the most aerodynamic of shapes this is what one would expect of such an 'aircraft.
If you throw it hard enough it can fly and as an additional play feature it crashes at the end to so you can send in the Lego rescue vehicles(sets sold separately)

Positive 1 star reviews for anything are honesty the funniest things I’ve seen
The most complex set I've ever made as a child was probably the monster hunters ghost train. A lot of pieces. I was probably 7-8 at the time but I completed it in like a day. Really fun set to put together!! :)

I’m not too impressed with the creator dragons that are slight variations on the same theme(same colors, same shape, same wings). Elves dragons are okay, especially if you mix together the dragon parts. Griefbringer was pretty good, but a lot of them rely too heavily on printed pieces/molded pieces for my liking. Then again, I focus on Lego Dragon MOCs and really only look at Lego Dragon MOCs, so I’m heavily biased.

At 12:53 I applaud the 8 year old grandson who built the Creative Expert London Bus. It was intended for people twice his age.
I think the most complex sets I built when I was 8 were the 2003 Takanuva, Makuta, and Takua & Pewku titan sets from LEGO Bionicle.
