    Did I just intensely watch an entire 22 minute video of Nigel chopping out a tree stump?
    What has become of me.
    Great videos Nigel! It's always a delight when you post a new video. 🙂

    How exciting to see progress on the new greenhouse!!!! Was so amazed to see you actually remove that tree stump with just an axe. You ROCK, Nigel! Reminded me of my Dad clearing his patch of land in the 60s to provide a pasture for cattle. Such good news that the Community Garden is open and you can get those trees planted. Stay safe and healthy!

    I kept wondering who would comment on the radial root pattern of the walnut tree! Sure enough, you did, Nigel. It's too bad the wood turner I watch on TH-cam is in the UK. He probably would like to have a go @ some of that walnut! Great job and tenacity, Nigel!

  • @SnowDragonka
    @SnowDragonka 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    What a workout! Wallnut trees are tough, we had one "small" one (trunk around 20 cm in diameter) and it was really hard to get out, the roots are very hard wood and we had to cut even the smallest ones, they just wouldn't budge... great wood for stuff I guess, bad for getting rid of it :)

    Hey, in your youth did you ever watch Monty Python? The first thought that came to mind when I saw you chopping and in your red shirt was their skit "Oh, I wish I were a lumberjack". Funny as all get out in a very British sort of way.
