And only a small part as it is a home to hundreds of Monks. Men can go there on retreats. The Monks make their own rosary beans, and they also make chocolate fudge fudge and CDs of their prayers and songs. They seem touring the mouse and it is just beautiful. I bought a CD of them years ago. I am going to go there with my wife. And kids when there old enough.

Is it because those over 75 are more likely to have similar ideals as well as know Latin? What's sad is what they destroyed to keep secrets. Not necessarily TRUE secrets but things that didn't support the doctrine that particular religion believes. If a religion can't hold to the scrutiny then how much truth is in that religion?

Most of the time it never occurs to me to bother or care about what other people think about religion. That's their business.
When it impedes me as a secular citizen, or much worse, is state imposed favoritism of one religion, then I get politically active.
But 99% of the time it is something I just do not care about and never think about / is not my business. You be you. I'll be me. Let's be cool towards one another.
No religion exist without money involved...yet its totally legal and growing each year.

Every organization has members that have personal defects. These can be serious ones, but the whole organization may not reflect the defects of some members. Religion is disrespected more often these days. Faith in a creator is scoffed at as naive or delusional. Media are a part of fanning the flames of this type of opposition and persecution.
When the whole organization hides crimes so they can look pure to the public, there's a problem.

Um... The Nazis did not despise Catholics. That's a whole bunch of BS.
Germany was like 41% Catholic in the 1930's. And Hitler's first treaty he signed after seizing power was an accord with The Vatican that, among other things, resulted in the church-driven dissolution of the Catholic Centre Party, a rival political party for the Nazis. Catholics may have been political rivals pre-Hitler, but the Catholic Church in Germany fell in line behind Hitler when he came into power. The Church instructed German Catholics to support Hitler, and even celebrated Hitler's birthday from the pulpit each year through the end of WWII.
Let's also keep in mind that until the 1960's the Catholic Church held, as a matter of doctrine, that "the Jews" were responsible for the murder of Jesus. This perpetual, generalized guilt for the crime of deicide MIGHT have had a little to do with overall popularity of antisemitism in Europe in the 1930's. The Nazi's policies of Jewish persecution harmonized awfully well within the Vatican's own doctrine...

Actually the highest number of atheists are ex Buddhists. China has the most atheists followed by Japan. Then Sweden, ex Lutherans. Then Vietnam, more ex Buddhists.
Latin America, except for Uruguay the most Catholic part of the world, has very low numbers of atheists.
