Highgrove House gardens are just perfect in their natural beauty. The areas that are regimented are also whimsical. How nice that Prince Charles shares his vision.
i just finished watching another video about Highgrove House and my view of Prince Charles has totally changed. he is completely different than i imagined and i love that he loves his garden so much and that he is into organic and recycling the water and wow, he's so different than i ever thought. yes i know he's filthy rich and i'm sure people have plenty of bad to say about him but he's also a sensitive and nature loving person and to me that means he cares about his world and that makes him a pretty decent human in my book. you never know what you will find on youtube and i'm glad i stumbled upon that piece,
But, you have to give the gardeners and the main grounds garden planners through the years over half of the credit as they work the grounds with their own hands 6 days a week, and the head gardeners planned the gardens and worked closely with Charles through the years. Charles made a documentary years ago about Highgrove gardens and gave a tremendous amount of credit to those who planned and work the grounds when he's not in residence.
Head Gardener Debs Goodenough doesn't have any formal education in botany? This presentation has a lot of good information, but all the narrator's side comments about her own life are inappropriate. She can't read smoothly, and acts like her audience is a group of school kids.
He has done a lot to encourage people to participate in gardening. I love that it isn't all just for looks and to help support a diverse ecosystem.
Wow !!! HRH is a very precious person indeed.
You must be joking
A wonderful lecture, I really enjoyed it.
