Quick correction, the animation rendered in a reverse order (seen at 3:44) due to the images being selected in an incorrect order when importing the sequence of images (seen at 0:30). When the images were imported initially, the frame count was going from a larger to a smaller frame number (0150 down to 0149, etc.) which resulted in the images being imported in a reverse order of what we expected (smaller to higher, such as 0001 to 0002, etc.). If you happen to have the same issue of the final animation being rendered out in reverse then follow this simple step: when importing the image sequence (seen at 0:30), you can press on the "Name" option above the title of the frame (Next to "Date Modified"), and that should correct the order of the images, and fix this issue! PS. Make sure that each of your frames are correctly numbered, and are in the same folder when importing the image sequence, otherwise you can encounter frame skipping, and other issues.
You are an absolute godsend! Saved my head from a bad migraine after watching about fifteen different tutorials on how to make it work but each of them failed until I found yours! Thank you so much for your help!
At the end i reder my video... Black border or margin comes in final video ... I set resolution 800*800 for image and then set same for video sequencer but my video got black margin ... How can i fix it ??
how do you set the time elapsed? when i use premiere i have to set the time per image to :02 seconds. does blender have a default time each image shows in an animation? or is it set.

I had the same problem: when importing the images (0:32), under select "Use Original Size" and not "Scale to fit".

Everything done..clicked on render animation but the frames did not appear and there was no video in the pop up blender render window. Why?
Btw the the video output looks bad when I export to mp4 instead of mkv, do u know why
How do i then put it into the video sequencer
strange .. I did exactly the same, but when I start render video, there is nothing happens in the render screen.
I found the problem , it's the resolution issue
what about alpha channel
