@@CarConfections Bro, when lot of ppl buy cars most of 'em really don't know and don't care about what type or kind of engine inside thier cars , most of 'em dying for Brand name , fancy and show-off, since engine unit of the car kind a like CPU of a PC , therefore could you post a video about modern durable reliable engines and thier types for sake of knowledge?
You should have known that wheel size is optional and can be customised during build.. Make some unique and fair point rather than clueless points
Exteriors: S class is classy and elegant, 7 series is modern and sporty looking
I feel like from the outside, bmw wins in both luxury looking and sport despite the small wheels. However, Mercedez does have an amazing interior. Both are German engineering and we should respect one and another.

Just the Maybach is the luxury and quality king... After Maybach come BMW and than Mercedes (At the Moment). In 5 years it can be look more different... maybe Mercedes is in 5 years more luxury than bmw, but at the moment the BMW is much more luxurios. But i like the S-Class too... Both are two of the best cars in the world...

I would take the BMW hands down, though in a more appealing build then the one in the video. I know a lot of people here haven't had the opportunity to have these as dailies, and trust me when I say, if you actually look around and actually felt the interior, which you will if you owned them, you will find a whole bunch of plastic inside the S-class. If you tap areas, you'll hear they're hollow, thin, they rattle, etc. The BMW however, you can be a lot more aggressive in your tests and feel the difference. No plastic, everything is sturdy, nothing feels hollow, etc. On top of that, the seat comparison of the two are like night and day. My partner and I, while we had the Merc, it just felt so cheap, and it looks all wrinkled/cracked, especially as the car was reaching a year old. Our current BMW however, moving onto year 2 and the leather still looks as nice as brand new, and is still extremely comfortable.
As for the infotainment centers, hands down BMW. Honestly, BMW's infocenter and technology is still ahead of the game for pretty much any car brand out there and is extremely user friendly.

Both are stunningly beautiful cars. They still have their long honed identities. I think that both have classic luxury car presence and will draw eyes when pulling up in front of anywhere. However I think that the Benz has a formal presence where the Bimmer says modern executive express.
I love driving both brands but I like the way that a Mercedes drives as a luxury sedan with its rolling anvil feel.
I think that a great pairing on my driveway would be an S Class and the upcoming 850 Gran Coupe convertible. A GX460 would round everything out well for me.

*Congrats* on an *amazing review* and *quality video and recording!* I'm new to your channel..but the information you provided is *exactly* what is needed for people like myself seriously shopping for one of these vehicles. So I have hit that *like and subscribe* button and look forward to seeing more of your quality work. I do have a question please: I'm currently shopping for a 2015-17 S Class through the MB CPO program. My main concern is repairs and maintenance..as I live in a rural area on the US Gulf Coast with no MB dealerships near me. Have you heard if these newer S Classes from the last 2014 redesign to now are more reliable and less prone to repairs? I'm a classic S Class owner..having an 1985 500SEL gray market vehicle..so I know about expensive repairs. But my S Class isn't chock full of electronics..which some say are reliable and others say are not. My reason for wanting a newer S Class is the pre-collision system as drivers today are incredibly dangerous and distracted and I'm trying to protect my family on the road. Any feedback is appreciated and keep up the great work. Cheers!

Personally I would take the Benz.
You guys missed out on the Benz does have auto trunk close via button/remote/under bumper with your foot. Same thing for opening. Also, the Benz comes either with Burmester 3D sound.

S-Class is more luxurious which is iconic because Mercedes is TRUE luxury automaker. BMW in my perspective is more sporty with addition to luxury but not enough. Both are great nevertheless!

I know from firsthand experience S class drivers are usually old white men or dumb housewives from beverly hills. Better yet are the douchebags that buy used ones dirt cheap thinking it's a "status" symbol.
BMWs are performance machines built for enthusiasts who want to drive, while still having the satisfactory level of luxury.
Also BMWs age WAYYYYY better. So noones going to laugh at your used car.
Owning a BMW, I can say without a doubt, they are both simply breathtaking...
After being a MB Boy all my life, I bought my wife a BMW.
I had a Mercedes Ambulance made from an E Class years ago, in the foreign mission when the Land Rover LWB kept stranding me in the worst places, lol! The MBenz was flawless!!!!! It never disappointed - though I did get it stuck once in Ecuador, the car served me very well in Chile, Columbia, Argentina, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Guatemala, and Belize.

Looking at the BMW's exterior, I get the feeling that the designers weren't certain about how they wanted it to look.
It's pretty bad compared to the S-class.
The 7 interior looks even worse than the Audi A8. Maybe BMW is more about driving pleasure?

I just saw the BMW with a chaufer yesterday for the first time in the street 2020...and it looked amazing...that new wider grill looks mean and rough but the car stood out because it was a beautiful green with tan leather...i immediately new it was the 2020.....stunningly beautiful and i see 7 series in the streets year after year and they never catch my attention...im more of an M3..M5..M4..M8 GUY being i have owned 2 M3'S already and this benz really looks too similar to all the big s classes right now..just the huge grill in that BIMMER stood out

Suavey Styles PERIOD❗️.....someone who knows.......you think when someone spends hundreds of thousands of dollars on vehicle they have have maintenance on their mind it gets regular routine service appointments and they barely drive them anyway I know someone who but an exotic vehicle and drives it like twice a year it just sits in the garage but gets regular service I said what are you servicing when it rarely driven 😂 rich people don’t care about maintenance that’s like buying a 3 million dollar Bugatti and worried about high insurance fees✌🏼
@@sd3564 The point you are missing here is that MANY people who are not "rich" buy these cars USED after a few years. Either privately..or through a CPO program..which is the smartest thing to do. So in those circumstance..you bet your ass maintenance and repairs are important. And as someone who is wealthy through hard work and not inheritance..let me tell you that maintenance and repairs are VERY important to me..because I don't have time for my vehicle to sit in a repair shop for days. And when these two cars need a repair..it is NEVER a quick repair..as usually the parts need to be ordered so it could take days or even weeks to repair. Lastly..these vehicle are nowhere near the Bugatti level..so comparing owners of super million dollar exotics with just regular wealthy people is a moot point. Stay well and cheers!

OK this is what a German car dealer told me about the fight between them..If you want Luxury go Mercedes, The Benz customize and go over board when it comes to Luxury,,But if you want performance and your a rough Driver go BMW Cant no car Performance level can compare with The BMW
