can you show how to remove door handle with that little wrench? i service sierra pacific windows and doors and sometimes struggle taking off those friction held handles.
Once the handle has been pulled up and the locking pins are actuated, should the deadbolt actuate completely? I have to continue holding the handle up in order for the deadbolt to fully rotate
Yes, the deadbolt should actuate after lifting the handle and throwing the locking points. Try it with the door open. Push the mishandling device (the little latch looking thing) in and lift up on the lever to activate the locking points. Keep the mishandling device pushed in, let go of the lever, and turn the thumb turn. If it works, then there might be something wrong with how your door or strikes are installed. Is the door square in the frame? Is the gap between the door and the frame even all around the door? If it does't work, then there is something wrong with how the system is installed or the gear itself. You can call Hoppe and they might be able to help you troubleshoot.
Thank you that’s a great video. How do I get the handle of the hopper? Where can I buy it exactly? Thank you very much

Use Allen wrench with flat end and turn it to create a pressure then pull your handle
Same here. Can’t get the handle off

Thanks for this! The stupid "instructions" made no mention of how to rotate the deadbolt to insert it. 🤬
