Hi Ingrid thank you for this informative video. You have gained a new subbie.
Please help me with this one... Now that I did my Diploma from a College before the new curriculum if I want to do my Masters degree what do I need to do... And I am in Western Cape where can I go study towards my masters degree?

Hello there Lee! Thank you for the support🙏🏽. I love your question! Ok, firstly congrats🌟. You would need to do Honors first and then do your masters. Alternatively, you can do a post basic specialty then your Masters. Lovely question and all the best🌻🙏🏽.

Hi, Ingrid. Thank you for sharing your expertise. My son is looking into doing a degree in Health Sciences for eg. Nursing or Physio. I have learned a lot since watching your videos. I will continue to look for upcoming videos. Your videos are informative and most South African teens are not well informed with regard to the requirements of Higher Learning. All though there are UNI or Colleges you can visit I just feel that platforms like TH-cam can reach quite a wider audience. Thank you.🙌💖

Hi Ingrid. I hope you are well. Thank you for this video, much appreciated 🙏.
I just passed my matric last year with a bachelor's degree but didn't get accepted by universities. So I wanted to ask if diploma in nursing will lead me to being a doctor because last year I applied for MBChB, so I've been looking for alternative ways to get to Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of surgery.
If yes, how will I get there with a diploma in nursing? Thank you.

    • @ingridmohammed21

Hi there, Ntokozo. Wow I didn’t know nursing could be done online. For SANC, you would need all your transcripts from your courses. The second and most important thing is you need verification of clinical hours. This is because Nursing is a hands on profession, clinical hours are very important for registration and employment. Hope this helps. God bless🌻🙏🏽

Hi there! No, the 3 year program is a maroon epuellette only. This is equivalent to bridging qualification. The 4 year is only a green bar for midwifery. All others bars will be post basic.

Hi Ingrid. So meaning, the person who did the diploma will not be allowed to do the midwifery duties only. Can they do community and psychiatry?

Hi Ingrid I've been a staff nurse for 5yrs but would love to do my degree course in a university, would I get credited since I hv some experience?

Hi, Cebo! Lovely question. You may be credited some courses, but I would suggest you do the degree in totality because every module is rich in information you require as a RN. Your experience will make it much easier to understand the modules in theory and practice. I would highly recommend you do the degree to really reap the benefits, my darling. Good luck and God bless🙏🏽🌻
