Ok awesome! I owned other guitars with veneers and they just never look like that on the inside cavities. Glad you watched the video. A subscribe would mean a lot!
I have one of these and I really like it ! It’s beautiful to look at , the back is a lighter natural color , looks great too . All of the necessary components are there to make this a really nice guitar . A decent set up all around and you have a great player here ! Mine was decent out of the box but I lowered the action a bit and adjusted about everything on it but now it rocks 🪨 ! I got mine about a year ago and I paid $159 on sale , so I jumped on it . These are entry level guitars but they are about the best entry level guitars I’ve ever seen ! With the set up , now it’s an intermediate level guitar and could handle any assignment in the hands of a good player . I love it , inexpensive , quality and beautiful . Trifecta !
Great review man, very honest and informative! I love the fact that you included a lot of the clean / relaxed / funky rhythm strumming in the playthrough, it's inexplicably hard to come by in guitar review videos, so thanks for that!
Man thank you so much. I am self taught and idk I guess that's made me play naturally a little different! Could you maybe consider subscribing my view to subscriber ratio is absolutely crazy.
the little slope on this guitar is pretty great tbh. Its a good progressive change to the les paul design that Gibson and epiphone shouldve already made. it feels good, allows better reach to the higher frets, and doesn't look bad. it's an inexpensive yet more modern take on the les paul that i personally really love.
The HB SC-450 is a perfect guitar, some details, even the appearance of maple on the top, most probably a foil with a maple texture. I checked it on one of the HB guitars, doing Relic) are absolutely irrelevant, because it is really stupid to compare it with the USA Gibson guitar. As such, it has a wicked tone, I would like to see that "expert" who will recognize if it is a real Gibson, without seeing which guitar it is played on,there are many examples of this on YT. The only thing worth doing on this SC 450 is this, th-cam.com/video/_Jzc-Jarv4c/w-d-xo.html, because it really gives another dimension to the tone of the guitar, the vibration is transmitted better, greater sustain, as well as removing the varnish from the back of the neck, down to the level of the wood (only if you are an esthetician, so it will bother you) . In any case, it's worth it, and you're a young guy and you have a lot of time and energy for everything, Hola chico.
Its a real maple top but a thin ie 1_2mm veneer on top, its that colour difference you see at the very top

Personally I'd still rather own a Gibson just can't afford one lol. but there's obviously no issue with the guitars different design.
Good demo and advice....maybe I try this guitar too ; )
Just watched this, great and informative review!
Looks and sounds great. Classy.
What size are the tuning pegs in mm? Thanks!
Pretty honest review
Also the honey burst looks very similar to the cherry burst lol
Yes extremely similar. The Honey honestly is a better color but I still like the Cherry today.
Do you think this Guitar will be ok for 11-48, 10-52 and similar heavier string guages?
