Ah yes Transformers, i remember watching them in Gundam Age.. Lets not forget their cameo in Gundam 00 and Build divers. Truely a masterpiece

Personally not my style of Transformers but I have looked at their IDW versions of Optimus and Megatron that are coming out soon and those have the exact look I've been looking for.

All the people complaining about the lack of transformation and saying that it's heresy should just piss off, nobody displays their tf figures in their alt mode.
I've actually always done a blend of both. Some of the alt modes are badass, especially the older figures. The movie ones aren't great though.

The only alt modes I display are the dinobots grimlock especially
Personally I only display in alt if I have two figures of the same character, but I do see what you mean.

Refreshing scene from the standard gunpla
The long leg stickers (blue on Prime, chrome on Nemesis) are gorgeous, you should really put them on. Also all the stickers on Nemesis really work well.
With that articulations, you could pull off a Jojo pose

Thanks for the size comparison. I searched all day trying to gauge it. I will definitely be adding this to my gunpla display now.
these are an odd scale for posing with gundam as they are far too big for displaying with hg/rg...and possibly far too small for pg.....and while not exactly in scale with mg that might be the best.....I would need to see it next to a pg as optimus prime generation 1 (according to their data) is 9 meters tall where as the rx-78-2 is 18 meters tall....so gundam SHOULD tower of transformers but like I say the pg scale might not work
Ballet Sissy yea my collection is only MG and I believe gundam should be taller anyway. So it works for me 🤷🏽♂️

I bought these babies last weekend and boy, I wasn't disappointed. I just had to paint most of the gray parts (for Optimus Prime) with white and it came out pretty decent.
Try posing a Dual-Ion cannon Nemesis prime like a twin buster rifle... we're all doomed! xD lol
Just found the Optimus at my local Barnes and Noble store for around 35, it was a fun build!
4:34 That's what I'm saying. People always compare Koto kits to gunpla kits and call them expensive. Like, why wouldn't gunpla be cheap, it's Bandai's own property meaning no need to pay any license fee, and they're the most well-sold plamo in the world so they can afford mass production. thus bring down the prices.

Yep. I like it for Entertainment purposes, but if they wanted a Gundam VS Transformers, they should have done Megatron from Transformers Prime and Gundam Barbatos Lupus Rex from MSG: Iron Blooded Orphans.

@@jadeenzzz They both specialize in Close-Quarters Combat and Gundam Barbatos is equipped with Nanolaminate armor, which means that 90% of beam weapons are useless, forcing Megatron to resort to his swords and fists.
That and the style that the two fight is similar to a Gladiator-style fight. I mean Mika is the most brutal Gundam pilot thus far in how he fights, and Megatron from Transformers Prime was a Gladiator back before he was the leader of the Decepticons.
@@jadeenzzz combined wi mthe the fact that Megatron can Transform as a gimmick and the Lupus Rex's Tail Blade, would bring an interesting fight.

I see people complaining or getting salty about the price. You folks have to keep in mind that this isn't made by Bandai. Flame Toys can't produce these in the same ludicrous volume as Bandai can, because the latter is a much larger company with decades of R&D behind them. So FT has to put a price on these kits that's higher than what you usually see in order to recoup the costs on their fresh, propietary tech.

So the optimus kit was my first Gundam esk kit and he actually made me kinda sad just because he didn’t hold together very well and he couldn’t barely pose and it was saddening I’m happy Thundercracker made up for it
