Plaice fishing at Mostyn Docks North Wales

Ade and I decided to make a trip down the A55 to Mostyn Docks looking for plaice. Baits were peeler crab and rag worm. We fished one mark from low water for about 3.5 hours and then moved to the beach. It didn't take too long to catch the target species. If your thinking of eating fish you catch at mostyn bare in mind there is a sewage farm on your right and a chemical factory on your left.

Im not keen on how you return some fish especially Dog fish I know they are a pain but just lobbing fish from height is not good for the fish and your opening the sport and yourself to the snowflakes that want fishing banned. Fish welfare and taking good care of them will score points against the snowflakes. Video gwych Ceirion
