DRIFTING SANDBANK'S FOR PLAICE [sea fishing uk]

a gentle day drifting sandbanks situated of Eastbourne, East Sussex. As you can see from the footage, we had a great day out with my lovely dogs pip and skip.
i was fishing in my boat a parker pilothouse 660.

Just my guess ..... Both times that boom came up tangled was when the bait had gone from one end. When that happens, as you are retrieving it must come up with the boom almost in line with the main line, caused by drag on the single remaining bait. This means the bait-free 'dropper' is wrapping itself around the boom. Worth giving it a go but, after your demonstration, my thought of trying them has now gone back in the ideas bin 🙂

Another top video Mark. Interesting to see that you were using black and green beads. Until a few years ago I was always on yellow and orange but the plaice seem to have gone off them and onto the black/green combo. Good stuff mate. See you soon
