The END of ADVENTURE VAN FREDDIE. We nearly lost everything, we've never been so scared.

Our VANLIFE adventures are over.
A few hundred miles from our last little incident, this time it's a devasting disaster. One of the smallest components on our engine failed leading to a diesel leak and engine fire.
What you don't see in the video are the 2 fire extinguishers and 15 litres of water it took to put out the fire and cool the components down. We were terrified that all our possessions as well as Freddie would be lost and had it not been for Claire running to campsite and retrieving a substantial extinguisher, Freddie would now be dust; we had exhausted all our extinguisher and water.
We have some serious thinking to do. We love the channel and more importantly Freddie, however, at this point in our lives, we are trying our hardest to establish our photography business and income has never been so tight. Something needs to change as we cannot go on like this, even if Freddie is saved.
