- 1 cup flour
1 stick butter
1 cup pecans
1- 8 oz package Cream Cheese
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup granulated sugar
1- 8 oz container whipped cream (divided) 1/2
1- 4 1/4 serving size chocolate instant pudding
1- 4 1/4 serving size vanilla instant pudding
3 cups cold milk
top with 1/2 whipped cream
I heard back in early 80’s, ( I was a teenager back then ) a house wife who was a fan of R Redford came up with this recipe. I love this and thanks! I will make it!

Looks awesome! As much as I liked Robert Redford, I think I like this more! I mean, poor guy, he didn't age very well. This dessert o the other hand, won't be around long enough to age! Thanks for sharing! 🌈🌈🌈
This is one of my all-time favorite desserts. I love chocolate and the mixture of chocolate with the nuts inside the crest is heaven. Yes, good old Robert was gorgeous in his day. And just like Brad is the new Robert, someday, there will be a new Brad..sigh..

Tried this and turned out like mush. The pudding mix was all runny. I re watched the video over n over and checked measurements over n over n still didn’t turn out. It says 3 cups of milk but I only seen 2 put in the bowl so idk if that’s what it is. Kinda mad I don’t have much food and always run out early and when i feel like I wasted money makes me sad 😢
Hi Kayla, i double checked the recipe and it does call for 3 cups of milk. im wondering if you used instant pudding?? i did hold up the instant pudding box, but i notice that i did not say the word instant. Sorry for the confusion.

Yes, it's also been called the next best thing to Robert Redford Dessert. Shows that this desert has been around for many years. I wonder if Brad Pitt has a dessert named after him. LOL
