I know it's been obvious since Yu Yu Hakusho, but I think Togashi loves Jojo's Bizzare Adventure. This chapter shows that quite emphatically in my opinion.
I think Togashi created nen because he liked stands but wanted them to be consistent, have clearer rules and make more sense. jojo is clearly an inspiration
@@dantecrottogini529 HxH power concept is basically combining qualities of Jojo stands and qualities of DBZ ki, and make the result elaborate, intelligent, and consistent. Unlike those two inspirations. So it's literally the best of two worlds as it's flexible enough to allow "stand like" abilities (Razor's clown dolls) and conventional energy abilities (Razor's energy volleyball spike). Razor's example is interesting as he's a single character that can operate with both "styles".
Jojo is an obvious inspiration and big influence on Togashi since Yuyu Hakusho. It started after Jojo's stands were introduced in 1989.
Something i always respected about togashi is that he never caters to the hiatuses and adds cheap cliffhangers to try to appease fans. He just writes as if there’s going to be another chapter within the next week. Truly he goes at HIS pacing and i love it. GOAT
I don't know if that's always true. The Hisoka vs Chrollo fight started on the 2nd chapter of one of returns. He used one chapter to wrap up something with Kurapika and sudenly shifted focus. Also after the fight he skiped like a month and went straight to the whales departures.
I respect the man but i do think maybe he should hurry a bit. He introduced so many characters and made this whole situation so complicated i worry if he keeps this pace this arc will never end and won't get to the dark continent

I just realized this but Lynch’s ability would be perfect for Kuro. This would make his theft ability super convenient if he stole this from her. He could then get all the information he needs to steal abilities from others fulfilling his requirement.
It still cracks me up that the news that Hunter Hunter was coming back came out the same week as Luffy Awakening his devil fruit and there was more hype around the hunter hunter return

It really shows how Good togashi is at writing characters when there's so much shit happening on this arc that I've been weiting 4 years to continue that normally I would be enoyed fallowing characters that I only met a chapter ago yet I have no such problem sense this 3 assassin's somehow wone my hard in this chapter alone
What a moment to be alive... HxH, the anime of Chainsaw man, Berserk, a good adaptation of Boku no hero, those are the little things that makes some one to be happy
Zakuro and Hinrigh has dope abilities. what Zakuro can do with his blood manipulation is insane, if Hisoka is really in tier 3, with his blood spread everywhere like that searching... he will find Hisoka pretty quickly. Hinrigh is insane, his creativity to choose the right things to turn into animals, and be able to make full use of the originally functionality of the object/weapon is amazing. love this chapter. HxH is back!
Hisoka is probably shapeshifting though, how would he reconize him?

@@imawarrior3516 I think he means the fact that with post mortem nen, his ability to manipulate his nen aura (gum and rubber) allows him to change features, and make them very realistic.

I caught up to HxH 3 4 months ago so its still kinda fresh, but this arc is sooo complex. You realy have to make notes to be able to connect all the storylines happening. Cant wait for the chapters to come.
Yeah it is complex and easy to forget things or miss details. I watched some HxH recap videos and they helped me learn new things i never realized from my first read.

I still can't believe it that at long last Peak X Peak chapter came out today and that color page with Yusuke was so badass and amazing also Hinrigh's ability is one of the coolest abilities I've ever seen

I hope that one day both Vagabond and Bastard will return. Because if Berserk and Hunter X Hunter can do it so can these ones
Thinking about it in the long term perspective, it would be weird if while reading the series years from now the story suddenly halted in the middle of the action to focus on different characters or plots. I'm so glad that we're just picking up right where we left off.
I believe at the end of the one of the last chapter before hiatus, he said that he had the next 10 chapters storyboarded so it makes sense that it continued this way. I like it

Knowing how much pain togashi is in while drawing these panels gives me a different appreciation for these chapters. Were lucky. I bet so many mangakas were exited to see this chapter. Hopefully he can manage the pain 😞

To be honest, the war of the princes was cool at the beginning, until he didn't hold back and wanted to write the bible.
What I want is the confrontation between Kurapika, Phantom Trope and Hisoka, then I'm satisfied, but apparently it will take a while to get there.

I really liked the new Nen technique of this character, it's awesome. It has many implications depending on what the limits are, but let's not forget bungee gum possesses the properties of both rubber and gum.
