I have a box between the front seats with two deep cycle batteries. I also ran a positive wire from the main battery to supply a charge as the van runs. I grounded the extra batteries to the seat bracket. The extra batteries were installed to run a 12v refrigerator.
I have a 95 that did this because my door lock solenoids kept sticking on me. So they would constantly try to reset themselves. Was no big deal, I just keep the relay out and if I needed to open my hatch, I used the relay for that purpose. The only drawback was no cargo lights! But If I really needed them, I had access so it worked great! Chevrolet is very bad on many vehicles about their auto door locks! I just kept the relay safe in my glove compartment because they are easy to lose. It was the second relay on the top right side. If you do this, don't forget to to pull your relay when you are finished using it.

Eve thought this video is 2012 we have the same problem in my 2002 astrovan. I sealed the vinyl all around and sealed the plastic cover put new double sided tape tighten all the screws then sealed with silicone sealant outside that plastic cover also put a chamois clothes under the carpet just on the side to absorb the water incase there’s a leak again rain came while raining i opened the jack stand cover to look water didn’t get in from the outside getting in inside the wall on the side by the rubber plastic chamois clothes still wet a little bit.. When heavy rain or non stop rain drops it goes on the side of the vinyl by the plastic rubber side I’m guessing the black plastic rubber that goes around the edge not the vinyl is the reason water gets in there. Due to my chamois clothes i put it helps alot until it drys up. Sofar I’m ok now better than before than the carpet is soaking wet. Didn’t do anymore fixing as of now I still have the Van..
To resolve the battery drain, you re-routed the incoming power to the #15 fuse? Is that it? Do you have any more details on this procedure? Like exactly how you did it?

My front two windows do not work sent power to motors they are good.master switch is new and only controls back two windows sometimes. Also the interior lights do not work on the ceiling and the rear windshield wiper is not working checked all fuses
Astro Camper hey please help me I have. 1998 Astro and the cig lighter that's under the radio stoped working but I have no clue where the fuse is for it. The only fuse box I could find was under the hood and theres no fuse for the power outlet. Thanks!

same thing.... TBC.. Truck Body Control, or BCM....Body Control Module. GM calls them either way.

Would it cause it to stop running? It cranks starts but sputters off
