Love this youtube channel saying hello from england 🏴 x all the best hope to visit the store one day
That first guy must have thought it was Pawn Stars, maybe you should have called in an expert. That last guy was sure tweaking, I bet he would have taken a dollar for the golf bag.
he basically did
He didn't want to get CAUGHT w it....
Remindes me of my uncle. He used to love to buy things, hang onto them for a while, and then sell them to try and turn a profit. If he couldn't make money off it he would give it to one of his grand kids or nieces and nephews. But that's what he did as a hobby for over 40 years.
People who talk too much are covering up lies.
The trolls are Swedish too. They are darling little creatures and not mean spirited or evil in any way. Not “creepy” at all. Many Swedish illustrations feature these little guys Sone famous illustrators focus entirely on trolls and troll life. I have an authentic Swedish troll -one about double the size of the little ones. I recall in the 60’s we called them “gookies”. They are all the same except for hair colour clothing was minimal and evolved in later years. We loved them! Wish I’d have kept one of mine
I wouldn't be able to deal with people like this day and day out. Some people enjoy the process of negotiating..I would go home with a huge headache.
This DVR is vintage... It says 1972 on the box somewhere. :)
The Golf bag has a UPS logo because it was probably a gift giveway at a UPS Golf Outing. Why it is a Burton Brand, is because companies always try to increase their product lines if they think they can make a profit. But that is where a lot of companeis wind up failing when they don't stick with their core products, it can devalue their brand.
That tweaker is flying like a sky pilot! Hilarious!
Some people are so use to their own bullshit it just falls straight outa their mouth.
@Bob...my parents were like that. Made me not be like that.
14:09 are the trolls still available? Possibly more collected from time posted. I buy every type in bundles .
2:28, "usually I find them without the box..."
So he goes looking for the stuff, he then has no clue how old it is...
I love ruby. She’s a beautiful macaw.
One big mistake anyone going into a buy and sell shop like this is Never Ever bring all your stuff in at the same time ,if you bring it in on different days in days you will get 2x3 times the amount.
When i was down bad i learned that lesson hard when i brought in a backpack full of fishing reels
😂😂😂😂
Why is that?
@@andriana5311 because you make way less on a big package deal than if you sell it pieced out typically. You sacrifice time usually too though, and thats the tricky part
@@andriana5311Depends on the place and how they do business, but most pawn shops bundle everything together and give you a number that might sound like a lot, but is usually under what you'd get 1 item at a time.
It's not quite 2x less unless you're getting ripped off, but you might get an extra $10 or $20 individually. I don't think Pete does that from what I've seen though. Seems like you'd get the same price either way.
Wow Peter you have a nice store and an amazing inventory. 👏
Has the Goodwill sticker on there, the guy says he's had it since the 70s LOL
And all the goodwill bags he brought the stuff in!
She's a beautiful bird, love her, your great with her and your pets!!💕 yes it amazing how much collectables run for!
"All my phones went to my nepfew and I told him I want them back". But, then he brings it in to sell?
That's why he wanted them back! His nephew wasn't paying him anything!
Yeah and that’s super rude to ask his nephew for them back if he’s gifted them to him, for a $20 sale if that or just anyway.
At the end of the video the wood truck I have other wood vehicles from the early 80s and Kenosha Wisconsin? Any knowledge would be great I thought they came from a local guy. Also everything is for sale for a reasonable offer of course if they are not good sellers that's fine my kid likes them and his will also because they last and simple. Glad I found the show tonight.
Guy even brings them in the Goodwill bag he bought them... Hilarious.
And Pete knows it immediately
holy meth dude did 4 dollars worth of floor damage with all that pacing around
I have seen so many of these Craigslist vids, that I am already thinking about telling those first two guys, "Alright 10 bucks for all this CRAP. You can either take it or LEAVE it!"
LOL
She's a keeper for sure, very knowledgeable. I would sell a couple separately get the most out of it you can always send out offers to watchers
That boy was geeked out holy smokes
The sign was not worth $25. They are all over eBay for $12-$24 by Ande or Andy Rooney.
People who frequent pawn shops usually aren't the same that frequent eBay.
@@jrobbins707 I know, but I'm saying Pete could have bought 2 on eBay to put in his shop for the price he paid for 1.
I think he said it was a certain kind of porcelain made by a certain company.
Hey I’m a huge 90s Packers fan. I would absolutely love that Leroy Butler football so if no one claims it’s I’d have great spot for my collection. Thanks.
That's the type of stuff you find at Goodwill - so it makes sense that it's already been there!
4:00
😂 🤣, a box has 6 sides, just six.
It there is a date stamped or a sticker, how hard can it be to locate?
6 sides? 😂 🤪
Those trolls sell here in the UK for so cheap they use to be expensive to buy, I guess the market changes. I would love to work in such a interesting shop especially with kitty and Ruby parrot. The guy with the golf bag was so funny,
I think the owner meant to say, the rest of this s*** you can take back with you!!! LOL... I have some old holy socks and underwear, wonder if he'd want to buy them!!! LOL
ya, the last year that i owned a retail thrift store, i just had to hire someone else to run the front, because i could not entertain these types of customers anymore. energy vampires
