My workouts before listening to your podcasts:
    -tons of ineffective isolation exercises
    -tons of cardio
My workouts after listening to your podcasts:
    - Barbell squats
    -Lunges
    -Bench Press
    -Overhead press
    -Deadlift
    -Pull-Ups
    And guess what?
Now I am in the best shape I have ever been ♥️

Been listening to the podcast for about a year. All day at work. I ended up hiring an online coach and dropping 30 pounds. Gaining solid muscle and here’s the thing. I feel good it’s given me life. I continue to better myself and expand my knowledge through these guys

I wanted to say thank you for all the fascinating discussions. I am 42 years old Mum and started weight lifting with my son ( now 16 ) last year. I really appreciate that we get to spend time together,2-3 times a week and he disappears again in his room :) And of course getting healthier and stronger at the same time. Thank you

For the Alaskan hike guide. One I use water jugs for heavy weights. Ropes with these little light hardware curved tubes, I use as a suspension trainer around trees all the time in remote north

ALL of the advice you guys give is priceless, especially for a newbie like me. In previous episodes you mentioned splitting up your workout so I did sets every 2 hours. I tripled my volume but had no soreness and very little fatigue. I sincerely appreciate what y'all do for us.

Recently quit doing CrossFit due to burnout and nagging pains. 3 weeks into maps anabolic and I’m feeling fresh and the pains are almost completely gone. Also grabbed maps prime and prime pro from the bundle last week and excited to implement it. Can’t wait to finish this plan and try more! You guys have me hooked.

Last year I focused solely on doing cardio and lowering my calorie intake. I lost a bit of weight and strengthened my leg muscles, but overall I still looked skinny fat, I'm 5'7" and 160lbs. After listening to you guys for a while now, I've started working to build muscle and build my metabolism, so that later I can sustainably lose weight and look more toned. I appreciate that you guys teach techniques to sustainably achieve goals and maintain good health. Thanks!

I’ve been saying this so much lately, seems like no one wants to put in the work to get education and skills BEFORE going into their trade and then wonder why they’re behind. I worked two jobs after cosmetology school because my other job was working for free after my full time paid job so I could gain experience. I watched and asked as many questions as possible. Best thing I’ve ever done for myself. No excuses, if you want it get it.

I was teasing my wife a couple weeks ago about her newfound fear of toxins. I like to lift but my diet is based pretty much on what tastes good. I started watching your channel solely for weight lifting advice but I have discovered so much more! I watched the video with Dr. Stephen Cabral and now I am really rethinking my nutrition. After 25 years of watching me train and weigh lettuce, my husband has realized that he probably would benefit from improving his health after gaining quite a bit of BF.
Because of you guys, instead of telling him to do what *I* do, which in completely unrealistic for HIS personal goals and someone who has never trained & intentionally cut before, I'm just doing one habit at a time and encouraging him to lift at home 1x/week. I hope he'll catch the bug and WANT to train more,,,,but he's gone from eating Captain crunch twice/day to greek yogurt and fruit for breakfast and eggs for lunch.
In fact, I have your podcast on pretty much all day long and when you were speaking of healthy habits will enduce a healthy body, he said Hey! You told me that! *cough* I gave you credit :D
Fitness and food is my passion, and I love each and every episode and I get at least one nugget that burns a hole in my brain from each episode! I can't wait til he's ready to take another step up the ladder so I can implement more of your wisdom to him!

I like the anxiety hack with blue light-blocking glasses. I'm not an anxious person, but it's still good to know and probably helps settle us before going to bed.
Also, I would think that growing stronger would help with just about any physical endeavor. It's just the possible added weight that might compromise ability.

I live here in Utah, and I couldn’t help but laugh when Justin was describing his experience in Salt Lake City! I’m surprised that you couldn’t find a restaurant in down town that was open on Sunday because I thought that most of them are open on Sundays, but there is a law here that stores cannot sell alcohol on Sunday. There are a ton of homeless people all over the city, and the airport has the longest terminals ever. If you ever want to go to one of the best breakfast buffets, go the the Little America’s buffet. It’s awesome!!

Talking about "chipping away" at a workout at 1:26:45 Sal mentioned strength gains but not size/hypertrophy. Is there any reason why breaking up sets throughout the day would be more or less optimal for size? I'm thinking there may be some metabolic stress that you'd likely miss out on if you don't have time to get a pump and build up metabolites. Maybe caller should try some BFR to hit that 3rd mechanism (tension, damage, metabolic stress)

Down town Salt Lake City really has gone so down hill lately! All of the hard left of Utah seem to have consolidated themselves into Salt Lake City. During election season I remember driving around seeing political candidate signs for straight up actual communists. Somehow the majority of voters in Salt Lake City, and to an extent Salt Lake County, all seem to completely ignore what has made Utah one of the best states for business and economic growth for almost 2 decades now. Before you know it down town Salt Lake City is going to be like San Francisco and Los Angeles.
