This actually correct circuit but you should use special diaphragm buzzer, and correct frequency that is unhearable by human ear 👂

It is a 555 chip in astable configuration. The ratio of the two resistors determines the frequency.

This doesn't work against mosquitoes. Only humans will be repelled. I have build one with different circuit and the audio is almost inaudible because it's ultrasonic. But still it doesn't repel mosquitoes.
