@Denny i beg to differ on the part yawati accent is important when exporting music internationally, i think the most important thing is just quality. Afrobeats is dominating world music and Afrobeats artists are having sold out concerts internationally yet they hv one of the funniest and distinctively Nigerian accents. They don’t even try to sound different and people hv accepted their product as a whole with that strong Nigerian accent forming a big part of the package. Before Afrobeats, Jamaican dancehall sung in Patois made waves and still does to today even though we don’t understand half of the things they will be singing

Started watching this show recently and l'm still catching up, but for Nutty O l had to jump episodes. This show is just way too too dope. I like how open minded the hosts are, but Denny hatisi kuwirirana pakuti if you wanna sing English it should come with a curtain accent. Shona to English translation sounds funny to you becoz you know Shona but its done, thats why award rakauya kumba. Chip Munk, Rock city, African giant etc they maintained their accents but still shot up there. Shout out to Nutty O. Thanx for the reassurance that you won't disappoint, we rally behind you.
